The critics are paid by Disney to give it a good review

No one is capable of genuinely liking this film without being a paid shill or a sensitive leftist sjw.

I never liked the first one and planning to avoid this.

There are many white people out there who believe if they dont support this film that they are racist.

A few people buy an extra ticket just to donate more.

I questioned the (seemingly overnight) success of the first movie (and suggested that perhaps studios over-inflated box-office takings) and the notion was laughed at.

Then came the report that wealthy (black) celebrities were buying up cinema screenings the 'Woman King' (to bolster it's takings)

At this point, I wouldn't put anything past studios (and their agenda driven movies)

The film made just 330 million at the box office, so none of you idiot trolls know what the hell you're talking about. It's a damn good film, too, so why you trolls are even taking up space about a film you haven't seen makes no damn sense whatsoever. And what you just said is really fckg stupid and also makes no damn sense. Everything isn't about fckg politics all the damn time----people just went out and enjoyed a good movie.

I wouldn't go to see a film where they made Hitler the good guy. Why would I want to hand over my well-earned money to see woman king make Africa's version of the Nazis the good guys?

reply

"I wouldn't go to see a film where they made Hitler the good guy. "

Are you kidding me? That would be the most original idea Hollywood has had in 80 years.

reply

They've had a few very original ideas. Attacking, and demonising the fans of the IP they are selling in order to drum up press about the show/movie. That's amazingly original.

Who would have thought fan baiting would be a thing.

Here we go again...

Not surprised by that. I liked the original movie and Boseman was so good in the role, particularly Captain America: Civil War. You've got to question, had they not released the first Black Panther movie just two months before the release of Avengers: Infinity War, would it have done so well at all? And around February at that...

And the sequel is not good. Not good at all. After being stabbed in the middle of her body, no way Shuri survived that. No way. Why the writers chose to write that in the script? So stupid.

M'Baku is the best part of the movie as he was a scene stealer in the first one and I thought he would be the new Black Panther going in the movie. Also the music score is great in both movies.

Have you seen the movie?

reply

Oh, I get it. This is a parody thread. You had me for a moment, I'll give you credit.

That is called "Payola" in the good old days of Rock and Roll. It's normal. You will not waste hundreds of millions of dollars in a movie just to see it destroyed by honest, intelligent opinions.
