I just watched a few minutes and it seemed fine to me. What gives?

If it was good you probably would have kept watching instead of stopping to post. See if you still like it after a whole episode.

I liked the first episode. Some people might not like it if they don't like super hero/comic book type shows. Or if someone has a problem with lesbians or women in general, then they might not like it.

yeah, it was fine. better than a lot of CW shows.

One tweak and it immediately gets so much better dialoguewise:

"It will be - when it fits me"...
