I think to heavy handed with one Topic of the Film

yes a movie about the dangers of sex trafficking good but using it as A Weapon for Christian Nationalism doesn't help Jim Cavizel-endorsed QAnon nutjob.

reply

Jim Caviezel is a great actor and an even better person!

reply

"even better person"

no dude is QAnon nutjob

reply

Even better tbh

reply

probably a pedo as well fuck him

reply

Project much? Really showing your colors when you're trying to pick apart a movie that's against child trafficking.

reply

i am againist child trafficking except you conservatives are the pedo party

reply

Hahaha, right, conservatives are the ones in the streets chanting we're coming for your children and trying to promote MAPs as a new term..... oh wait, it's the left. 🤦🏽‍♂️

reply

FACT: Jim Caviezel has never been associated with QAnon. Prove me wrong.

reply

He's also an Opus Dei Catholic who says zilch about sexual predation by their clergy.

This movie falsely equivocates child trafficking to all things Foreign and dark skinned, when in the US many sex Trafficking happens at the local level from all races, including Whites and Asians, not just blacks and Hispanics.

reply

I haven't seen the movie yet but I know it is based on a true story. It's based on one man's experiences and one man's fight.

reply

Indeed it is, and a near perfect portrayal at that. Will be buying more tickets to view the film relatives.

reply

True, gay priests molesting boys is a big problem.

reply

There are no Gay priests. They proclaim sexual abstinence and are protected by the powers in the Churcjmg and their political allies. The same applies to heterosexual rape at the hands of all Catholic clergy

reply

The priests who molest boys are secretly gay. Duh!

reply

I do wish this film focused on the US - given that it's the biggest import market for sex/human trafficking - according to Ballard.

I am reminded of the metoo movement - and I do wonder - how the heck did the modeling/fashion industry avoid getting metoo'd? Everything that I know about that industry tells me that it's just as fucked up, if not more so, as the hollywood, when it comes casting coaches - in fact, most of the porn vids of that sort are designed with that scenario in mind.

reply

I think equating high morals with religion is pretty dumb, so I agree.
Having said that, it seems like hollywood might be run by satanists, which stems from the exact same religion, just the opposite end of it.

These days, our dear leaders have turned science into religion as well. I'm not sure where this is all heading, but it ain't looking good.

Still, in the battle of 2 ideologies - one of which deems pedophilia and sex trafficking as bad, and the other which normalizes pedophiles by labeling them as minor-attracted-individuals, I side with the first ideology - despite not being on board with the whole bible talk.

reply

They are run by Satanists.

I have known atheists and agnostics with ‘common sense’ and a ‘moral compass’; unfortunately, lefties have neither.

Dude, how are you going to talk about common sense then go into a spiel about the "devil" as if it's a real entity.

Rationality is not a highly held value of either side of the political spectrum unfortunately, as the right is deeply ingrained in Christianity, and now the left has their own quasi-religion with absurd beliefs and practices.

A logical, scientifically-minded POV is apparently just too much for the general populace to handle.

reply

Not that you would understand or relate to anything in regards to faith/belief and about something called allegory, but, nevertheless:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephe - 6:12

reply

Oh, so we're back to posting bible quotes as a response. I feel like I'm on Youtube back in 2008.

reply

Muslims must believe in the Devil, yet you never criticize the Religion of Pieces!
