I completely agree. Amazing stunts and some of the best fight scenes of any movie.

Not until they verify what the message at hand means. Even the Navy should have the common sense to verify all messages given to them. Every message is important, even ones cut off.
The lost 50 minutes of footage that the movie director cut out because of the studio's demands would have explained what you are asking. Sadly paramount did not restore the lost footage for the 30th anniversary blu ray release because it is either lost, destroyed or just locked in their vault.
This might be the best RE film next to the RE 2002 movie. I like that all of the main cast were in here, except for Barry sadly. Lots of Jill fanservice too. She stole the show!
Good review. But I actually think that the RE 2002 film was better than this mini series. RE 2002 film along with the new Death Island film are best ones in my opinion. In regards to the no nudity rule, not sure what that is all about. The animated Street Fighter II film got away with it in 1994 with Capcom's IP, but rules of that may have changed since then.
When I saw this trending on the home page, I had my hopes up thinking that the lost workprint/director's cut had been announced or has surfaced.
Not every sequel is inferior to the original. While mostly true, there are very few sequels you listed that I and other movie buffs enjoyed more.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Aliens (kind of a toss up for me but I suppose I like the original more)
Lethal Weapon 2
The Godfather Part II (another toss up)
Batman Returns
Mission: Impossible - Fallout
Avengers: Infinity War
The Expendables 2
Mad Max: Fury Road (even The Road Warrior was better)
X-Men: Days of Future Past (if the Wolverine movies count then Logan)
Spider-Man 2 (I tend to go back and forth between this and the first)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
The Bourne Ultimatum
So yes very few, but some sequels are better.

Not true. I like all of the sequels more than the first movie except for MI II. The first film isn't bad by any means. An 8/10 for me. But the rest of the series just top it.
