Agreed. This was surprisingly very good imo. I thoroughly enjoy sci-fi and I think most fans of the genre will enjoy this one. Certainly worth a watch and I would even like to see a sequel.

It was pretty good. I enjoyed it, especially seeing my home town of Melbourne, Australia in it. The first fight scene where STEM takes over to fight off the guy who comes home was a great surprise, and got more inventive as the movie progressed. A little repetitive towards the end, but a good story overall.

It certainly was remarkably good. In a way it had some similarities to the original Robocop movie from 1987, in that it was set in the future with a man whose wife killed is by violent crooks who also leave him a vegetable. The Man is then upgraded etc. Just like Robocop, Upgrade turned out to be unexpectedly great, Although this will probably never receive the cult status of that movie and will probably be forgotten in time. But right now I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes a bit of science fiction.

I heard good things, but even then I was pleasantly surprised. Solid movie, fun, immersive and thought provoking, which I s a rare combo these days.

Just watched this last night and I to was surprised.

It kind of had an 80s kind of feel. Entertaining and didn't take itself too serious.

I loved the look of the world. Film had a kind of comic book style feel. Reminded me of the judge dread film.

Apparently they are making it into a TV series which sounds interesting

I'd never heard of this movie until recently I stumbled across a youtube video of one of its fight scenes. It's been out for 5 years and it blows me away there wasn't more word of mouth going around, let alone official promotion.
