Looks dredful , reboot of Genysis if anything

There are only 2 Terminator movies that exist, T1 and T2, the rest are a bad nightmare.

Don’t even know what the hell’s going on in the trailer. Dark, grimy, and ugly to look at.

A genysis reboot but worse starring some reverse tranny Terminator, an annoying no doubt "special" child tag along and "Hey Linda Hamilton kids! Rembember her from the movies that were actually good? Oh and obligatory Arnold cameo! Please come see this piece of sh*t!"

reply

LOL!

And one "Terminator" being half human? Didn't they do this shtick in Salvation (2009)? I honestly thought that was the weakest plot of the movie, and here they're rehashing it.

As somebody said in another topic, it's the greatest hits of the third, fourth, and fifth installations.

Yes a half Terminator is so unoriginal and now they're even re-pasting it from T4 which was one of the worst movies of the franchise. The same with the new Terminator. A blend between liquid metal and endoskeleton was already unimaginative in ROTM and now again. This movie stinks of unoriginality.

T2 never gets criticized for being a blatant reboot of Terminator and having the same basic plot. Even Cameron said T2 is basically a big budget remake and allowed him to do the liquid metal terminator he originally wanted.

well see how it turns out

T3 is a good movie. Sure it's mostly a rehash of 2, but it has way more balls.

reply

T3 rocks! I love it.

reply

There's some really good scenes in T3. I'm pretty sure you could mostly fix that movie just by going through and editing out the goofy scenes and clipping some bad dialog.

I'll admit when I saw it for the first time in the theater, I didn't start taking the movie seriously until the crane chase. Something about the build up of that scene got me really into the movie from that point on. Maybe it was the lack of soundtrack that slowly dripped into action music as the chase got more and more insane.
Then they nuke everyone at the end.
Balls.

You know the story behind that scene? How it wasn't originally in the movie but Arnie knew it needed some action so he wrote a check and paid for it himself.

reply

I did not know that haha! It would make sense, Cameron did tell Arnie to ask for a shitload of money to see if they would actually give it to him...and they did.
