Why is it...

...that liberals on Tucker's show never answer his questions?

reply

Because their arguments would fall apart if they took the time to be honest.

reply

Reminds me of politicians answering questions at a open question event in a gymnasium or conference center. They just talk around the questions with rehearsed talking points. Plants in the audience will simultaneously applause when the politician is done. This will divert attention from the fact they never answered the question and socially bully the everyone in to accepting the answer.

reply

Because just like the libtards on movie chat they know their radical positions can’t stand up to scrutiny

reply

Which questions, exactly, are they avoiding answer to?

reply

The questions that make liberals look stupid...so all of them.

reply

Just as I thought, you can't think of a single one.

reply

I've actually seen his show, and the simple fact that you don't know his liberal guests do this means you haven't. It's not my job to hold your hand through this cupcake, watch a couple interviews.

reply

Don't go chickensh*t on me. You made a claim, now you can support it with some proof.

I don't waste my time watching Carlson just in case he has a gotcha moment with some liberal hack. You going to put up or shut up?

reply

The proof is in the videos I directed you to watch. I'm providing a source, you are simply failing to use it to educate yourself. Again, I'm not in the business of holding liberals hands through the process of shaking their ignorance. You might have to actually try a little.

reply

That isn't the way it works. Why should I even believe you have any idea what you're talking about?

If I said that Trump enjoys sexually assaulting women as a perk of wealth, then I would provide a link to a video that shows him saying this.

You are claiming that someone said something to Carlson at a certain time and place. Prove it.

If I said something bad about you, and you objected, would you demand that I prove what I said was true. Probably

Would you except that you were required to prove I was wrong? Probably not. It is up to the person making the claim to prove it. Only cowards make a claim then refuse to directly support it.

Carlson: "Geraldo, we live in a country where we are being forced to take a vaccine that some people don't want to take, that Americans can be arrested for not wearing a mask because Covid is so serious, but foreign nationals break our laws carrying Covid and somehow they're exempt from the requirements that we live under? That's not xenophobia, that's equal application of the law. and it's not happening now, and it's an appalling double standard that every American, including you, should be mad about."
Geraldo: "Well, I'm mad about exaggeration and hype."
Carlson: "What? It's a policy. They are not forcing... Look, if you work in the Federal Government you have to get the vaccine. But if you break our laws as an illegal alien you don't? Why don't you explain why that's a good idea to me?"
Geraldo: "Well, I don't think this segment is about me, I'd would be glad to."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAKDOqFtqYY

Carlson: "Do you think there is a meaningful difference between someone who is here illegally and someone who is a citizen?
Julissa Arce: "Yeah, but that's not what we're talking about here, right, like I came the show to talk about this law in California and whether it discriminates against U.S. citizens."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fudTsDb_YKY

This entire interview with Rep. Eric Swalwell, where Carlson continuously asks Swalwell to present evidence of Trump colluding with Russia. Swalwell tells us there's evidence for Russian colluson, but never gives anything concrete. Of course, Swalwell must've never turned over that evidence to Mueller, because Mueller never found any evidence of collusion. Meanwhile, Swalwell was sleeping with a Chinese Communist spy at this time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMpGKTK7nCs

In this interview, Tucker talks to a college professor who wants to raise the tax rate on the top 1% to 80%. Tucker brings of the fact that she's pretty well off, but doesn't want to pay that much in taxes. She evades that point multiple times.

Professor: "I pay about 30%"
Carlson: "Why not pay 70%? I don't understand, like what's holding you back? Why not lead by example?"
Professor: "Well, Tucker, you... you know what's holding me back? If you... If I knew how to do that, um, I would have no issue doing that. But the tax code is incredibly-"
Carlson: "Just send the check."

Thank you for the links and info that Burk refused to supply to support his claim. Yes, those guests are weak.

But Carlson still proves that he is a liar and cares only for ratings.

For example in the 1st link, Carlson claims that "Look, if you work in the Federal Government you have to get the vaccine". I work for Naval Base Kitsap. Employees who refuse the vaccine are still employed. They are required to be tested more often though. All Carlson had to do was ask and he would be told the requirements, but I guess he thinks it is easier to just makes stuff up.

In the 2nd question, Julissa Arce answers directly with "yeah", then explains further.

reply

Ironic that you call Tucker a liar, and then go on to lie yourself.

That video with Geraldo and Carlson is from last summer, when Biden implemented the federal mandate. Now that the courts have overturned that mandate, it's no longer in effect.

But nice try.

Seriously, how can you defend a president that forces Federal workers to be vaccinated, but imports millions of illegal immigrants without even bothering to test them, let alone vaccinate them, and shipping them off to different parts of the country?

If Trump had done that he would have been impeached for a third time. And deservedly so. Intentionally breaking our laws by the person who is in charge of enforcing them is an impeachable offense. Hopefully, when the Republicans take over the House next January, that will be the first item on their agenda.

And Arce answers "Yeah", then goes on to avoid the actual question being asked. The law being discussed limits the number of U.S. citizens allowed to enroll in California colleges, but allows an unlimited number of illegal immigrants to enroll. She defended that by claiming they were 'residents' of California. Tucker's question was spot on to the point she was trying to make, and she side-stepped it.

reply

The federal mandate did not require everyone to get the vaccine, it always had exemptions.

I was not defending Biden. I was calling Carlson a liar. Biden has never had my vote.

I didn't say I agreed with their answers. I requested that Burk prove his claims, then you stepped in. I also said the guests were weak. What is the big deal?

reply

So, because a few people would be exempted, Tucker was lying when he said if you work for the Federal Government you have to get vaccinated? When he was comparing it to a flood of millions of unvaccinated illegal immigrants flooding the country?

That's a lie to you?

You claimed that federal employees weren't being fired, only tested more. When the fact is that was only due to the court overturning the mandate, which happened long after Carlson made this statement. Either you were unaware of the court's decision, or you were dishonestly trying to run a lie by me.

And sure, if you're more upset about Carlson's 'lie' than you are about what Biden is doing, and you're choosing to lie about it, then yeah, you are defending Biden.

I can only imagine what other 'lies' you think Carlson is spreading.

reply

WTF?! It is either true or not true. What Carlson said was not true. Get used to it, Carlson lies a lot.

I don't care if he compared it to illegal aliens. He lied when he claimed all Americans working for the feds had to get vaccinated.

I don't need to be up to date on mandates in this case. At the time Carlson said this, he was lying. Get used to it, he lies a lot.

I didn't say I was more upset about Biden or not. Biden is not fit to be president in my opinion.

But this thread is about Tucker Carlson and how lies because he thinks Americans are idiots.

Do you really believe that if someone is doing bad things (like Biden is) then it is okay to be a liar like Carlson is? A person is either a liar or they are not a liar. It doesn't matter how they fill about someone else.

reply

"He lied when he claimed all Americans working for the feds had to get vaccinated."

You really are dishonest.

Here is Biden's official announcement in July:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/covidplan/

Path out of the Pandemic
PRESIDENT BIDEN'S COVID-19 ACTION PLAN

The President announced vaccination requirements for the federal government in July...

Building on the President’s announcement in July to strengthen safety requirements for unvaccinated federal workers, the President has signed an Executive Order to take those actions a step further and require all federal executive branch workers to be vaccinated.

No mention of any exemptions.

Carlson was simply repeating what the president had announced.

How dishonest do you have to be to call that a lie?

Like I said, I can only imagine what other 'lies' you think Carlson is spreading. It's obvious you're not basing those accusations on facts and logic. And it's hilarious you're all over Carlson's page talking about 'integrity.'

reply

If you actually believe a Biden press release, then you really have a screw loose. What is wrong with you anyway? Everyone else knows Biden is running on less than a full brain, why don't you?

Maybe that idiot Carlson should be fact checking Biden instead of blindly repeating what he says.

Here is the actual EO instead of the press release you linked to; https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/executive-order-14043-requiring-coronavirus-disease-2019-vaccination-for-federal-employees

It says in part; "I have determined that to promote the health and safety of the Federal workforce and the efficiency of the civil service, it is necessary to require COVID-19 vaccination for all Federal employees, subject to such exceptions as required by law."

Here is a link to the forms you can use for medical and religious exemptions. https://www.dhs.gov/publication/requiring-coronavirus-disease-2019-vaccination-federal-employees-religious-or-medical

Almost everyone else knows the CDC says not to get the coivd vaccine if you are allergic to the vaccine ingredients they list on their website or if you have other medical problems that make it unsafe to get. Why don't you know this?

So if anyone ever tells you that all federal employees have to get the covid vaccine, you can tell them they are a liar; like Carlson

I can guess that you will now say that it's not a lie because most federal employees are still required to get the shot.

Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades an atom bombs; not when telling lies.

reply

"Here is the actual EO instead of the press release you linked to;"

You just can't stop lying, can you?

That release is from September. Two months after Carlson made that statement.

So, your logic is that Carlson was lying because he should have known Biden was lying?

Wow. You really can't handle the truth, can you?

And you talk about integrity. LOL!

reply

I posted the wrong link. Sorry.

Here is the actual EO with exceptions dated 9/14/21. https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/09/14/2021-19927/requiring-coronavirus-disease-2019-vaccination-for-federal-employees

Carlson is still a liar.

The press release you linked to does not have the force of law. The EO (14043) Biden issued does.

Why would anyone think that Biden could or would force people with legitimate medical exemptions to get a vaccine that they are allergic to?

Carlson claims that Biden is forcing all federal workers to be vaccinated. His proof, nothing at all.

reply

So, Biden announced on July 29th that EVERY federal government employee will be required to be vaccinated. Right here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVIXqa9Rcg0

"Next, every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest, or is not vaccinated, will be required to." Joe Biden, July 29, 2012

So that very same day, Tucker says "Look, if you work in the Federal Government you have to get the vaccine."

And you conclude from that that Tucker is lying?

Wow. Your stupidity is proving my point.

reply

I conclude that Biden was lying and Carlson was a fool to believe him. Carlson is still a liar.

Why is your faith in Biden to make sense in a video so solid? You faith in Biden to make sense is disturbing.

reply

So now we're down to it. Tucker was 'lying' because he repeated what the president said a few hours earlier.

Clearly shows what you think a 'lie' is when it comes to Carlson. Demonstrates how completely unhinged you are about a political commentator. Hard to take anything you say seriously after your complete abandonment of facts and logic.

Let's recap:

"Next, every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest, or is not vaccinated, will be required to." -- Joe Biden, July 29, 2012

"Look, if you work in the Federal Government you have to get the vaccine." -- Tucker Carlson, July 29, 2012

"This proves Tucker is a liar!" -- Ranb

That's hilarious. You're a nut job.

reply

It's a really bold move just taking Biden at his word. I'd even call it a stupid move. Why are almost all conservatives unwilling to take mentally deficient Biden's word for anything, but you act like Biden's word is gospel?

I think you do just to prop up the stupid things Carlson says.

Carlson has a brain, he just prefers to use it for other things than telling the truth. He could have looked at the EO and saw that Biden didn't know what he was talking about. Instead Carlson takes Biden at his word and uses it to make a fool of himself.

Carlson repeated the lies of a known liar (Biden), this makes him a liar.

I don't trust Biden to tell the truth, why do you and Carlson?

reply

Why is this so hard for you to understand?

He was comparing what Biden was doing with illegal aliens - allowing them to overrun out border without being tested for vaccinated - to how he was treating federal employees - forcing them to get vaccinated.

It's a clear comparison demonstrating the stupidity of this administration. There's an obvious "Biden said this" in there that you're not comprehending.

And besides all of that, for you to call Carlson a liar because he repeated what the president said, is the ultimate in dumbass thinking, and proves you just hate Carlson without any logic or reasoning.

This just tells everyone your "Tucker lies all the time' claims are just you bloviating your baseless opinion.

reply

You don't understand. The military has to obey orders and get the vaccines like they always do. Other federal employees are free to find other jobs. Isn't everyone hiring now; aren't there hundreds of businesses desperate for workers?

You have told me that you believe Biden when he says all federal employees are required to be vaccinated. This is an obvious lie. Why are you so supportive of what Biden says now? Why are you buying into Biden's lies?

If a person repeats the obvious lies of another person, then they are also a liar. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

I'm not the only one calling Carlson a liar. Fox News defended themselves in a lawsuit by saying Carlson is a liar.

https://www.npr.org/2020/09/29/917747123/you-literally-cant-believe-the-facts-tucker-carlson-tells-you-so-say-fox-s-lawye

Just read U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion, leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers: The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

In other words, Carlson is a liar.

reply

"You have told me that you believe Biden when he says all federal employees are required to be vaccinated."

Are you a fucking idiot? I never said that. I said that Carlson was just repeating what Biden said.

It's clear that you're just too stupid to understand what Tucker said, so you call him a liar.

I'm done wasting my time with your idiot rantings. From now on, this is all I'll be replying with on this point. Anyone reading this can see what a moron you are:

Let's recap:

"Next, every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest, or is not vaccinated, will be required to." -- Joe Biden, July 29, 2012

"Look, if you work in the Federal Government you have to get the vaccine." -- Tucker Carlson, July 29, 2012

"This proves Tucker is a liar!" -- Ranb

That's hilarious. You're a nut job.

reply

Ok, since you're playing it that way, it looks like the following poster cited you your source, so you don't have to think for yourself. I accept your apology.

reply

Thank you

reply

I'll never apologize for telling a person to man up and support their claims. You're still a coward for refusing to do so.

reply

You have evidence of it now, whether or not I provided it is irrelevant. Are you going be a big person and admit you're wrong now, since the evidence of my claim now sits before you? Again, I accept your apology.

reply

Since I was questioning your integrity, my criticism is still valid and completely relevant.

What was I wrong about? You made a claim. I asked you for evidence for your claim. You ducked any responsibility at all for proving your claim.

I originally asked for examples of Snagswolf claim that "Why is it liberals on Tucker's show never answer his questions?". You responded with "The questions that make liberals look stupid...so all of them" When I asked you for examples, you acted like a little kid instead of an adult.

When KinkyInk comes up with examples, you want to ride on his (her?) coattails in a futile attempt to gain some respect for your lame behavior.

I think the only way you're ever going to get an apology for people rightly insulting you is to make the apology yourself. The universe is going to own you if you keep on acting like that.

reply

Deflecting , hurtling insults and failing to accept facts when presented to you. Typical liberal.

reply

I think Trump is a gun grabbing zealot that is disappointed that he could not enact his "take the guns 1st, due process 2nd" nonsense. Can you explain why this makes a liberal?

I am offended by anyone (Carlson, Trump, Biden, Obama, Bush) who lies to us. Why does this make me a liberal?

reply

Gullible much? It's a tv show for entertainment, lol.

reply

Carlson's racist sycophant supporters think it is news gospel. If it was only a few people, then it wouldn't be a problem. But too many people just believe the stupid stuff Carlson says instead of trying to look into it for themselves.

reply

because he would cut them off. Google the many times he's done it when called out.

reply

Because they know they can't defend the indefensible

reply

Liberals don't answer questions anywhere. They just call you a racist with thier skinny grease covered fingers jammed in thier ears..
