That spider scene
Holy shit! Thats one of my biggest fears that a spider would crawl into my mouth while i'm a sleep. Really gave me the shivers. I hate spiders.

What I found unrealistic was the fact that he didn't feel it on/in him. That was just freaking unbelievable.
And yea, that was super gross. Yuck!
So it crawled into his mouth and layed an egg inside without him noticing. Then it proceeded to crawl all over his neck and jawline biting repeatedly and the stupid asshole doesn't wake up? when he finally gets up it's like he doesn't even care that he has massive damage done to the inside of his mouth and face. He continues for the next day or so completely oblivious to the giant spider egg siting on the inside of cheek (I suppose) without a single comment or thought. Either the stupidest character in a movie or the writers were high when they wrote that ridiculous scene.
And typical Hollywood stuff. In the book, he is bitten by a spider in his boot and gets really sick and looks gross and has blood in his mouth, but it's implied that it's more likely a result of his reaction to the questionable anti-venom a quack doctor gave him, rather than the spider bite.

As someone who has gotten past out drunk, I always wondered about this.
Would I feel if even a roach went down my troat. Gross.
That scene was gross, worse than any horror film.
