Prime? How is this not getting a theatrical release?

i think the system is still broken post COVID. This makes no sense unless the team that made the trailer is very good at being misleading.

Amazon’s financed the picture and they are down 50% on their subscriptions post Covid! This is their way back. Trailer looks fucking amazing 🤩

Even if Prime is down... it still seems Amazon will make less money this way. I would have paid for a movie ticket, but since I already have Prime they get no incremental money from me. I find it hard to believe that someone would get a $15 membership - and keep it - just for this one movie. Plus they could have moved it to prime after an initial theater run and gotten the best of both worlds.

Amazon thinks that better content till lure subscribers back onto their platform. They are lagging behind after they fired Roy Price. Once they are back online they can order that air fryer they also wanted as well.

it looks awful 😕

That is the tradition of this franchise.

Road House, Road House 2 Last Call and now this Road House film. The franchise will continue.

Because Amazon sucks

reply

It deserves to be on Prime because the average moviegoer will always remember Patrick Swayze in the role and feel this doesn't need to be remade for Zoomers & Millennials

I was ready to watch this movie opening weekend. I don't watch trash ass Prime movies. Bummer.
