Disney wanted Rey to be the next Katniss so why not cast Jennifer Lawrence in the role?

I had no problem with the actors or characters. Just the script. directing, some cinematography and lack of creative visuals.

She suites the role definitely.

Another option would have been to glamorise the character, highlighting her female qualities. Of course, this might have been seen as sexist and probably would have lessened the credibility and realism of the character. Having a fuller figured young woman playing the role might be appealing and add sex appeal, but how would that relate to the character who is supposed to have been living in an environment since childhood where she was just getting by with very little money and resources?

Horsegirl is very replaceable she can't act and looks like a horse
Kat Dennings for example would be better
