The film is still awful, just a few thoughts:

The real star is the special effects.

John Boyega and Adam Driver are clowns.

Everyone looks fake, it seems they use the fake magazine retouching on film faces too, not sure how, do they go over every single frame? If they do, yikes.

The only memorable shot out of 400 million dollars of special effects is Leia's eyes over her shawl looking into the horizon. Nothing will ever beat a real sight with real composition, no matter how much you try.

Yes that was a good shot, but you can't be serious about seeing an "awful" movie for a third time, can you?

I thought Snoke looked good for cgi. But only cause he looked like a joke in TFA.

Snoke has to be the best CGI seen yet. The effects guys said that the rendering techniques done for his face weren't even possible when Force Awakens was made.

It was a spell ago...right after I joined...and to be honest I thought it was just something to do with my screen name LOL. It was probably the fact I had a low post count and do not filter my thoughts...and you made a judgment call...it happens I guess. Sorry if my blood got up on it...I know better than to google Internet lingo...I'm going to access the optimistic side of my brain and look at it as I managed to elevate myself in your eyes and leave it at that😉

I searched for "sock" in my posting history and I don't see it. FYI, amazingly, just doing a word search on the posting history screen will find that word anywhere in the posts, even if it's not visible in the little preview.

My oldest usage of the word was 2 months ago, so perhaps my reply is gone too.

How a guy who looks like Adam Driver can get leading roles is beyond me. He's one of those ugly people that Lena Dunham tried to "normalize" on her show. John Boyega is just filling a quota in just about every movie he's in. Knows this and acts entitled to it.

John Boyega is just filling a quota in just about every movie he's in.

That's so racist. Boyega is a fantastic and highly acclaimed actor who made a huge impression in "Attack the Block" and took off from there. That was a really fantastic performance, too, he was impressive.

He's also a stage actor, and still does it.
