What just happened?

That was a really bizarre finale. We go 10 seasons without one fleck of snow and then BOOM, complete chaos and snowstorm.

The Kingdom just suddenly decides to close down the entire community and go on a trek through the snow.

Ok?

Then the writers do their typical lame "zombie scare" tactic. As stupid as they normally are.

After showing us multiple zombies frozen into ice and the good guys shattering their ice brain tops off, suddenly a group of zombies were just hanging out UNDER the snow and, right on queue, all of them pop to life spring forth from the snow. That is soooo IDIOTIC.

Then, in Alexandria they need to go from one house to the other. We've seen Alexandria many times. It is a neighborhood. Houses next door to house next door to houses across the street from houses. Now the snowstorm is so powerful they can't even walk from one house to the other without risking their lives. Also, instead of being right smack in the middle of a neighborhood, they seem as if they are in the middle of nowhere and have to cross the county to get there. Then we throw it a character just running off by themselves again. Seen that about 200 times.

Then to top it ALLLLLLLL off.
We then see the whisperers. ZERO SNOW. The trees are GREEN and full of LEAVES.
No cold or snow at all....all the leaves on the TREES!?????

What the hell????????

reply

The whisperers moved south for the winter, and when we see them, they had just returned.

reply

This was season 9.

Really?
Really?

Really?

You don't respond to ANYTHING with regards to the theme and the point of the post. You just respond with your anal "well actually it was 9 seasons..............not 10" crap? I'm just speaking off the cuff. I rounded up you twit/troll. Sorry that was too much for you do handle....you just had to rush on here and get anal. It wasn't an "FYI" AFTER giving some comment about the subject.......no, that was literally ALL you had to say. Go away with your anal EXACT number of seasons crap.

Why do freaks like you even bother responding.

reply

Ignore is your friend

reply

Well, if he bombarded me all the time with annoying posts I would. To be honest, the activity on this site is slow enough to where I rarely run into any posters often enough for anyone to make a lasting impression.

reply

I don't have the patience for nonsense or BS ... I put people on ignore when I can tell they are useless. I have a few hundred people on ignore. I don't like stupid, insulting, or boring remarks.

reply

I have a few hundred people on ignore.

If that's truly the case, I'd say it's safe to say the problem is you.

reply

I second that. I've been on the message boards going back 12 years now with IMDb and this site, and I have NEVER put anyone on "ignore". I think it's pathetic, and shows you can't handle any other opinions or debates. Even if it's a pointless troll...how hard is it to not respond to someone. You have to put them on an "ignore" list???

reply

Runaway global cooling ... without all the factories, cars and cow flatulence, global warming got reversed to global cooling!

reply

At one point, someone said it was never this bad this early, meaning winters are getting worse is how I took it.

reply

I'm willing to accept a flash storm, the same way I'm willing to accept a ZA.
I'm just glad we have new scenery and new, unique challenges (which come with extreme weather...when you don't have the creature comforts of the modern world, like generators, weather forecasts, furnaces, fuel, vehicles, etc...).

reply

Lol this was the dumbest episode I have ever seen.

It is not their first winter so you can assume they knew what to expect at winter which is why they left the kingdom so why did they not have any plan? Stock up on firewood, build chimneys ?

lol why did they leave the kingdom? The blizzard lasted one night?

Oh my God, this finale is utterly poor.

reply

I don't understand why they leave

reply

There were other problems with the kingdom. The storm is just the last thing in a long run of bad luck. When the camera pans out, you can see at least 2 of their main buildings had been on fire.

reply

Yes exactly. They showed the plumbing in the main boiler room for the complex (which has been leaky for years) spewing water from breaches all over the place. Several of their largest buildings look to have burned nearly to the ground. The Kingdom is falling apart, getting harder and harder to live in. Final failure of the heating system was the last straw and Ezekiel decided they had to abandon ship. Unfortunately with no more weather forecasts, no ten day outlook, they didn't realize a storm was coming - otherwise they would've left a day earlier.

reply

Yeah, one of the dumbest episodes in the series history. FIRE THE WRITERS!!!!
