The Left Destroying Someone, Just Like the Right

A film that shows that the left is as vicious as the right when it comes to tearing people apart and destroying their lives. Which is why left-wing reviewers lost their minds when this came out. The second that the classical music conductor of the title shows cracks in her veneer, pretty much everyone doesn't spare a second in ripping her to ribbons, all but ending her career.

reply

The left is FAR more vicious.

reply

Everybody thinks the other side is the worst. This is why our nation is always at a standstill.

reply

There is only one side jailing people for legally protesting an illegal inauguration that violated multiple State Rights regarding laws that enable legal voters to request ballot audits BEFORE certification.

There is no "two sides" anymore.

reply

zzzzzzzzzz...

reply

A scathing rebuttal.

reply

Hey, it only took you two months for that one.

reply

Yep. Just saw it.

reply

Idiot insurrection loving shitheads that swallow butthurt juvenile ex presidential losers are more than welcome to join my ignore list - goodbye chump.

reply

Just do us all a favor and delete your account, leftist.

reply

They are, but they've convinced themselves they're the angels in society, so they are incapable of recognizing their own evil.

reply

Yep!

reply

🙄

Can anyone just watch a movie any more without making it a left vs. right talking point?

Boring.

reply

^ Agree, boring and sad. Too many are programmed to give a knee jerk, two dimensional reaction to everything. It’s us v. them never we. Left v. right with nothing in the middle. Pure tribalism that is sending human civilization right back into the caves.

reply

Well, to be fair, this isn't a lighthearted Marvel or Pixar film where such a debate seems to appear out of nowhere. The movie largely focuses on things like cancel culture and identity politics, which are pretty politically charged areas. I've no doubt that it was intended to spark discussion and debate from the audience.

Mind you, this isn't to justify the whole "left vs. right" bickering, of course, but this is an odd movie to not expect such a thing from.

reply

"the left is as vicious as the right"

Yeah, like a rabid pit bull is as vicious as a beagle.

reply

Thanks to everyone for proving my point. That was easy.

reply

Nobody proved your point. Not even you.

reply

The right: Always on its knees.

reply

"Which is why left-wing reviewers lost their minds when this came out." Like who?

reply

What a nutty ignorant take. :)

reply

I'm sure you haven't seen it. As usual.

reply

Of course I've seen it. And read your grumpy half-witted post, too.

It has been nominated for multiple oscars. The academy isn't exactly newsmax country.

reply

Sure.

reply

What the hell does anything here have to do with left or right? This is what's wrong with America, right here - stupid tribalism.

reply

It's entertaining to see the country destroy itself.

reply

The left definitely has the upper hand when it comes to gaslighting.

reply

She deserved to be fired. She ruined the lives of those who didn't sleep with her.

reply

Who didn’t sleep with her?

reply

[deleted]

The movie never shows her pressuring anyone to sleep with her.
