Did anyone ask for this?

BF was cool in the movies, but the character sucked in the Favro-verse.
Stretching it too thin. Stick with the Mandalorian - but even that was getting tiresome.

reply

Both episodes have been bore af.

reply

Thx for the feedback - I was skipping it anyways.

reply

Yeah Disney has been throwing shit to the wall and hoping some stick... This series and hawkeye for example had been pretty bad so far

reply

Boba Fett has always been mysteriously popular with some fans, I don't get it.

I liked Morrison as Fett during his appearance on "The Mandalorian", liked him a lot, but so far the series is underwhelming.

reply

The series will probably get a bit better. Boba fett had like 6 lines in all of Star Wars...the whole mysterious thing is stupid bullshit. If people want him to stay that way in their heads. THEY SHOULD NOT WATCH IT.

reply

Well I hope it perks up a bit, so far it hasn't been much fun.

reply

Agreed. It's been ok. Hopefully just growing pains. Its obvious the budget is much smaller than the mandalorians.

reply

Galactus03, maybe people WANT certain characters to remain mysterious. Look at how the Han Solo movie turned out, it explained stuff that was made-up by the crap writers that was mythical in the audiences' minds up until that point, it turned out to be totally underwhelming and thus Solo was the first Star Wars FLOP. Why should we be surprised at that?

reply

It's all made up ..lol...

Well, first off we never see Boba Fett’s face in the OT. That makes him mysterious and fascinating.

He was able to track Solo when the entire Imperial fleet was unable to.

He also had Vader’s respect. First you see Vader looking at him directly when he says: “No disintegrations”. That means that this is one mean bad ass that needs to be restrained. Vader also offered to compensate him if Solo died in the carbonite. For anyone else, he would’ve said: “Too bad!”.

reply

I admit, I barely noticed his existence for the first 10-20 times I saw "TESB". He just didn't register with me, there was too much other awesomeness going on.

So thanks for that explanation, because I never saw anything in the guy until Morrison took the role.

reply

Well, it seems Star Wars fans will fork over their money for anything connected to the Star Wars universe.

reply

Money? Time!

reply

Except nobody's paying directly for this, unless they're paying six months forth of Disney+ subscription fees to watch it on a pay-per-view service.

The Streaming Wars are a plus for viewers right now, these services are putting out hugely expensive original content for no extra charge, just to pull in subscribers.

reply

Stfu and dont watch it. Its that fucking simple....jesus christ...😂😂

I thought the first ep did a fine job establishing Boba escaping the sarlacc pit and establishing his new throne of power. Okay, let's get going! And then in the second episode, we're right back to re-establishing him all over again. It's clear the entire first season is just gonna be all re-origin story. Nothing is gonna happen. And man I am overdosing on the 'member-berries.

reply

I honestly liked the second episode as it gave more history and lore to the Sand people.

reply

No-one gives a SHIT about the Tusken Raiders, as is their proper name!!! I want to see the BIG players of the Star Wars galaxy duke it out, like the Rebels and the Imperials, NOT SOME LAME NOMADIC TRIBE STUCK ON ONE PLANET IN THAT GALAXY!!!!!!!

reply

Did you miss the whole new Star Wars movies the last few years or something? No wonder people hate star wars fans. Go touch grass dude.

reply

I don't think "re-origin" means what you think.

reply

Are you high? Brain damaged? Fans have been dying for more Boba Fett for decades. Why the fuck do you think he was all over books and comics for years? People wanted more of this guy.

I like this show for the most part, but don't object to you not liking it. But you're a clown if you think he sucked in Mando. He was a fucking beast there.

reply

The Mandalorian is what a Boba Fett show should have been, but they chickened out and decided to create a new character that looks exactly like Boba Fett.

Now these idiots have painted themselves in a corner and have to make Boba Fett completely different from The Mandalorian.

reply

It's meant to be Boba Fett himself, played by the same actor Lucas chose for the PT, but yeah, I don't know why Jon Favreau has switched focus to fucking LOSERS like the Fetts.

reply

Jeremy Bulloch is the real Boba Fett. Not that prequel guy.

reply

Unfortunately, he's dead now.
