I...don't like it.

reply

Oh look another interracial couple (which wasn't in the original)...lol, so predictable.

reply

Very surprising indeed.

reply

The couple in the original WAS interracial. Both Lee and the actress were Anglo + at least a few other ethnicities

reply

Seriously. The first movie literally featured a multiracial/interracial couple 30 years ago & 'SHOCKER', no one gave a shit. I swear... sometimes I think these gen z stormfag bois get off on making utterly ironic asses of themselves with these kinds of race baiting, shit posts.

reply

The "stormfag bois"(Never heard that one before)and The Woke Warriors are united in their fixation on silly things like skin color and ethnicity

reply

Yet its only the stormfags in here whining yet again about something else completely innocuous that was already a feature in the original movie. Something that would have been seen as idiotic & pathetic to be crying about in a significantly less "woke" time, no less.

reply

i guess it doesn't really matter there's always the original film.

reply

basically turned him into a weirdo like Jared Leto's abysmal portrayal of The Joker

reply

That was so ill received! What a bizarre move to double down on that idea.

reply

In contemporary Hollywood, doubling down on ill-received characters and choices is more second nature than Hell's Angels trading 13 year old runaways for meth

reply

That's what I was thinking

reply

I was worried this would trample on the legacy of the original film but there's clearly little chance of that!

Who knows, Chappie turned out cool, maybe this will too.

reply

Tattoos used to be artful and if a character was going to have them in a film they would be used to accentuate something. Now they look random and are scribbled up like a child's crayon drawings.

reply

Good god thats awfull looking

reply

Nipple and face tattoos. Looks like a dude who listens to machine gun Kelly or something

Screw that. I’ll stick to rewatching the original

I’m not opposed to any remakes. But the original
crow came out at the perfect time of the dark brooding grunge era in this country and captured lightning in a bottle...it also didn't hurt that Brandon Lee was brilliant, and actually died during filming under suspicious circumstances only further adding to its lore..
