Someone needs to…

draw a Genogram or Family Tree because it’s hard to keep straight of the family members. Also, is this supposed to be 1000 years before “Game of Thrones”?

reply

. . . learn how to finish a complete thought.

Really? Is that so hard? Really?? Do you “think” you’re being cute? Provocative? Original? Or is it that you can’t be bothered to write a complete headline because you’re late for a meeting?

Yes: scorn from me to you and all other slackers who are like you are.

reply

I’m really perplexed with your version of a “complete thought” because mine was. I’m not sure where you are from but writing a statement and then adding the 3 dots gives the impression the thought continues. I’m really sorry that your little brain is so overloaded that you couldn’t catch onto what I was doing. You must be a Millennial.

reply

In this guy's defence I don't think you could fit

"Someone needs to draw a Genogram or Family Tree because it's hard to keep straight of the family members"

in the title, and even if you could...

...it would be a shit title anyway.

reply

Well, it’s a good thing I wasn’t doing it to impress you…Lol

reply

You succeeded in being unimpressive and half-assed.

The “three dots” are “an ellipsis.”

Educated people know this.

He's not a Millennial, but he is a hypocrite.

It usually takes about two seconds of browsing through his recent history to find R_Kane offending in the same manner he's been whining about.

reply

You got to be kidding me! You know people just want to be nasty just for the sake of it…SMH

reply

That's him and he has probably 95% of MC on ignore.

reply

I will admit that in general, I also hate titles that don't complete a thought, such as these classics:

I wonder if...
What if...
The ending should have...

But in the OP's case above, as mentioned here already, the entire suffix draw a Genogram or Family Tree because it’s hard to keep straight of the family members, would have (not of) been just too lengthy for a title. So for once, I give scopeland28 a free pass here on that otherwise very bad habit.

But if they are following along (doubtful), I generally ignore "teaser titles" like this 90% of the time. Which reminds me... I hate there's no SUBSCRIBE option here!

Crabs reproduce asexually bro

its only 150 years before the battle of Yavin

reply

Thanks for your response! This other Ahole on here getting mad because I started my topic and then added the 3 dots. He/she must be a Millennial and doesn’t know people have used that foe decades. However, it’s not done in professional writing. It can be used here because it’s a discussion board.

facepalm

LOL! I do that a lot myself, it’s actually asking something or stating something, such as “Re Tonight’s Episode….” Where it means that the rest would be continued in the body of the message. Can’t see where anyone would get into your face about it. Hope they found other things to do than sweat that on a message forum.

BTW, stickman38 sent me a link about the genealogy of House Targaryen so here you go. Hope it helps. Don’t thank me, thank him. Best.

I do think there is a possible ***SPOILER*** for House Of The Dragon in that link to the Targaryen family tree. DO NOT READ THE TEXT in that link..... just look at the pictures to avoid the spoiler...

Okay, thanks!

reply

Thanks!!! It’s good to know that are still some decent people in the world.

The dots are an ellipsis, a phrase unknown to you, but not to me. They are typically used when quoting something but editing out extraneous material. I object to aspiring cutie-pies writing half a headline for a topic and then hoping to lure an audience to the main body of the topic by making the audience curious.

I spent years in newspapers. A headline should be a complete thought.

reply

Of course.

reply

Yes. R_Kane is a huge hypocrite and a huge asshole.

reply

Yep, but you’ve done it Mr. Newspaper man! SMH

reply

R_kane I can see you have not made many friends here on this forum, but I have to say I somewhat agree with you that I object to --- writing half a headline for a topic and then hoping to lure an audience to the main body of the topic by making the audience curious..

But as I stated already here, I think you're (not your) barking up the wrong tree on this particular post. I have seen much worse. And to call someone a "cutie pie" just for doing that, is a very strange response. I can see why nobody likes you here, just sayin'. State the facts. Leave out the attacks.

reply

It literally tells you at the start.

reply

Yeah, it's always a huge question,

Basically those blond kids are Alicent and Viserys's sons. Their last name is Targaryen. The brown haired kids are Rhaynera's and Ser Harwin Strong's kids, but they're lying and saying that they are Rhaynera's and Laenor's kids. But Laenor is gay and black so obviously they're not his. It is really hard to keep track of if you're not a book reader. I've never read the books so I go on the Song of Ice and Fire Wiki pages to familiarize myself with the history, family trees, and lore

reply

Great, thanks!

this is why I don't like fantasy. You have to memorize 150 characters.
