Episode 7: Thanks for the cringe, Marvel

I'm not saying all the episodes should be dark & serious. It's good to have the odd fun episodes. But this legit felt like it was written by a 13 year old. Like wtf was that?

I kept calling episode 2 "Someone's bad fan fiction" but this one actually makes that one watchable in comparison. I barely made it through the episode.

I was cringing & rolling my eyes at the dialogue & writing throughout the episode.

reply

It was fucking atrocious. A kids cartoon.

reply

Like for real though. This isn't even a troll comment or anything like that, the episode genuinely felt like it was written for kids

but BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER. so good...so wholesome. LOKIII.

Jesus Christ, seriously. Ppl eat up anything marvel related lol

reply

Right? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the MCU but this show has honestly been such a disappointment.

The show peaked with Doctor Strange Supreme in my opinion. That was absolutely incredible. The Whodunnit & Zombie episodes were solid for the most part. But the series as a whole has honestly been meh.

But the fans & critics are eating it up as usual. So hey, what do we know...?

reply

I enjoyed it. It was fun seeing Thor just come to Earth and party with other alien characters we have seen before. And it was funny when his mom came down to punish him.

reply

I liked it as well. It was one of the better episodes of what has been a very uneven series.

THE WORD IS A MISUSED HIPSTER/JACKASS HYPERBOLE....YOU'RE BETTTER THAN THAT.

reply

I thought it was absolutely hilarious! I was laughing until my abs hurt! I'm amazed to see so many negative comments about it, because I'd thought all the fanboys with zero sense of humor had sworn their loyalty to DC!

It was so funny that my #1 financial priority right now is getting a "PARTY ON MIDGARD" tshirt.

reply

IMO, this was the worst of the series. Not sure what they were thinking when they wrote this immature crap.

reply

It was an attempt at comic relief. Similar to the What if parody comic.

reply

Well, it would have worked if it was 2 or 3 minutes.
Almost half an hour of this was painful to watch.
