They just killed the entire show for me!

The Game of Thrones is over for me! Jon got all the praise and Daenerys is again treated like trash! Treason is everywhere! Make me sick!

reply

I kind of agree. She lost Viserion TWICE and got no respect.

reply

Again? See ya next week

Yeah exactly. I like the character but at the end of the day she's done bad things and is thinking of attacking kings landing and risking those she wants to save.

Most probably don't even think they need saving. The thing is remember she wanted to break the wheel but she's actually became a part of it

reply

Her father went crazy, it doesn't mean she is! She has been put through hell and the only family members she had left after Robert started a BS war and murdered even the babies would let all the Dathraky rape her if it got him the throne. If you think her saving hundreds of thousands of slaves wasn't benevolent? As you heard war is war, she wasn't going to lock people up. They were adults at war and made a choice.

reply

Cersei is still worse. Daenerys gave Sam's brother and father a choice to surrender and bend the knee, and they chose their pride. Did Ned Stark or Messandei ever have a choice?

reply

Ned had a choice and agreed to Cersei's terms, but her idiot son Joffrey killed him anyway.

reply

Ned had no choice as Joffrey was king, Cersei was in no position to offer anything. Cersei has only become worse since then. The Lannisters always resort to dirty tricks like the red wedding and catching their enemies off guard. They could never win a fair fight. Last night Euron took out Rhaegal in a surprise attack. Yeah, that was smart, but Daenerys should have had scouts. Her lack of experience is showing.

reply

Cersei sat on the Council and was Joffrey's advisor. Cersei made an agreement with Ned if he took back his comment about Joffrey's illegitimacy than his life would be spared. Joffrey agreed but then publicly went back on his word. Cersei was actually right because it would have prevented the civil war and they would've had a strong ally in the north. Tywin said Joffrey was a fool because he didn't listen to his advisors.

Dani didn't listen to her advisors who told her the soldiers were tired, injured and needed time. Meanwhile, she could have sent scouts. Dani believes it's her way or the highway now. The beginnings of a tyrant.

Euron was fighting fair. He knew dragons were on the way so he had a weapon for self-defense.

The red wedding I'll blame on Rob's stupidity. He broke his word about marrying Frey's daughter. Catelyn warned him. The Lannisters only took advantage of an opening that dummy Rob gave them.

The Lannisters fight smarter. Dummy Dani is going to attack out of anger instead of strategy.

Cersei may be worst but Dani can become like her which Varys sees.

reply

I agree with what you are saying except for the "strong ally in the North". Ned getting sent to the wall isn't exactly a great trade off. It would have prevented a civil war, but it would have still soured the relationship of the North and King's Landing.

reply

True. Another problem is Little Finger 's continued scheming so there may have been a civil war, anyway.

reply

Dany is mad anyhow.

reply

So this is your problem? Are you a big Daenerys fan?
There has been hints of Dany going dark for a while but it has become too fast paced being the biggest issue..
I'm fine with it myself. I don't want all the females besides Cersei to come across as too heroic and perfect.

Dany has been pretty unlikable all season and with the loss of the 2 most trusted people in her life, plus another dragon, her going a bit crazy seems believable.

reply

Sansa has been a bitch this season! Daenerys treated her with respect and a compliment and a nice smile! Sansa was a cold bitch! If you start losing people you care for by sacrificing for others and they don't give you a little respect for it, it gets old! You think any of those northerners would be alive if Daenerys didn't show up!!??? How was she so terrible especially compared to someone like Cersei!

reply

Sansa doesn't easily trust anyone now and is on her guard.

reply

yeh right!!!!!+

reply

I have to agree. And here I thought I am the last Daenerys fan left!
I wish GRRM a long and healthy life and improved work ethic, maybe he will deliver something better.

reply

Seriously? Of all the things they've done to ruin the show this season, that is what killed the show for you? There's nothing even wrong with that...

reply

All the shit Dani went through and the treason and deaths of her dearest friends. To top it off Jon "the honorable" guy doesn't give her the respect she asked for for saving their asses! Yes I will watch them kill her and Cersei off while putting the dolt on an even higher bourse than he is on! Can't even keep a promise!

reply

That was a ridiculous promise to ask of Jon, not even ask, demand. She wanted to keep Jon in line while at the same time maintain their controversial relationship which Jon is clearly not comfortable with. Dany definitely saved the North with her forces but it does not mean she should be automatically accepted as a queen. She's shown that she's powerful, that's undeniable, but she could very well be a tyrant in the making, for all the people of the North know.

reply

Anyone can become a tyrant. Start off by having your only living family sell you to a barbarian to get an army. Then loose one of your dragons on a stupid ( turns out useless) plan to get a dead guy! Then fight for racist unappreciative people and lose more than half your army! Then loose the two most loyal caring friends she has. Then those stupid advisors turn traitor on you for what???? I give her permission to kill them all. They suck and are not worth it. Terrible writing!!!

reply

Varys is right being wary of Dany, if she does indeed "kill them all" or in other words, slaughter her own subjects she becomes the person she swore she'd never be. Most of the characters on the show had their fair share of traumatic experiences, but not all grew entitled and sure of themselves as Dany did. That isn't to say that she doesn't deserve empathy, because she definitely does. However, whether we can feel bad for her or not, shouldn't be the only reason she becomes queen.

reply

So do you think that murderous bitch Cersei should stay queen? Should the idiot Jon become king, because he is as smart as Tommon was!
And Gary's was treasonous before she wanted to go to the red keep and kill Cersei! She never wanted to hurt innocent people. If she did, she could have gone in when she first got to Westerose

reply

I'm not saying Cersei should stay queen, I'm not saying Jon should be king. I am saying that Dany should not be the queen, this doesn't automatically mean that the other two are appropriate candidates.

reply

You are not a very bright person.

reply

You're trolling. If you have a different opinion from a poster, then you should make it instead of insulting.

Dani has shown that she is unfit for the throne from the beginning by repeatedly burning people alive. Her brother was a lowlife, but she had no reaction to his horrible death. Sansa was traumatized also, but she is more level-headed and intelligent than Dani and Jon.

reply

Lol, you are a fool as well. Sansa, the one who repeatedly made idiotic decisions that got her in horrible situations and whose success at anything depended on others doing it for her. She has achieved nothing her own. She has now betrayed Jon by breaking her promise and causing fractures within their side when they should all be united against cersei. Daenarys pledged to fight with them before Jon bent the knee and made huge sacrifices and Sansa has been nothing but ungrateful.

And as far as Daenarys burning people? They had a choice. After reading the part about her having no emotion towards the man that threatened to carve her baby out of her stomach I realize you are not even worth arguing with.

reply

Sansa learned and became smarter as did Dani. Sansa saved Jon's butt during the Battle of the Bastards which is a great achievement. She also outwitted Littlefinger and kept Winterfell running while Jon was gone.

Dani is a sociopath and sadist. Did it occur to you that she may have inherited her father's mental illness? I used the word reaction - not emotion. Even disgust or a wince at the METHOD of death which was gruesome. You have to be cold to see anyone die like that and not react. And burning people alive comes too easy for her. And she is a foreign invader as were all the Targaryens like Cersei said.

Dani made no huge sacrifice for the North because she would've been killed by the Night King like all living beings. It was for her own best interest, too.

There is no choice if Dani says the alternative is death. She is terrorizing people.

Jon shouldn't have bent the knee since the people had faith in HIM, not her. Dani is a thief trying to cheat Jon out of his rightful heritage as the true heir to the throne. The only way she can claim the throne is through deceit and secrecy.

reply

Did I not say you are not worth debating with?

reply

You gave up so easily. How disappointing! Especially when you based it on your illiteracy since I never wrote "emotion."

Oh well! pedestrian and I have won this debate against the Dani sycophant. Hurrah!

reply

I have no desire to prove anything to you and you have won no a damn thing. I have already stated my view in threads that i created and I have the support of others who share my view. I simply do not care about you.

reply

You care enough to reply once again. And you did misread my comment and blame me for your error. That's very small of you.

I really prefer to have the last word. Hurrah!!

reply

Sure.

reply

You care. You really, really do!

Hurrah!!!

reply

EXACTLY

reply

That is a lovely way of calling someone an idiot, I appreciate it

reply

What in the world are you talking about? I asked you how that ruined the show. How is a character having a natural reaction to something, something that would ruin the show? You're not making any sense.

reply

I don’t think that making sense is in this guy’s repertoire. Making waves, on the other hand, clearly is.
