Very sad. I watched the first one or two seasons of this show. Jaime has to succeed. What a terrible end for the story if Daenerys were tried and executed for something Cersei had done! Ned had no choice as Joffrey was king, Cersei was in no position to offer anything. Cersei has only become worse since then. The Lannisters always resort to dirty tricks like the red wedding and catching their enemies off guard. They could never win a fair fight. Last night Euron took out Rhaegal in a surprise attack. Yeah, that was smart, but Daenerys should have had scouts. Her lack of experience is showing. Cersei is still worse. Daenerys gave Sam's brother and father a choice to surrender and bend the knee, and they chose their pride. Did Ned Stark or Messandei ever have a choice? Even if Daenerys bests her enemies and spares King's Landing, what if Cersei gets desperate and uses the wildfire under the city when she realizes all is lost? She's done it before. People hate Deanerys, but Cersei is worse. I hope not. I think it would just kill them. 'Dragon glass' is made by melting volcanic rock, so it doesn't really have properties associated with cold and winter. The Children of the Forest made white walkers by imbuing the glass with their own magic. If there are any Children left in Westeros, they'll be on the Isle of Faces in the God's Eye. He pledged to fight for the living in season 7. This is one of the reasons Cersei and Jamie have a severed relationship. She considers him a traitor basically. Sam could officiate the wedding ceremony during battle. Sam ain't that kind of person. His father protected the rest of the family, and his death puts them at risk. That was in Season 2.
