Friendly Reninder: PUT SPOILER WARNINGS IN HEAdlines.

Don't assume everyone has seen episode 6 just because it leaked. I'm watching it on Sunday night and not a minute sooner like most people. The world does not need more killjoys.

reply

People that spoil should die of dick cancer!

reply

Agreed. I'm waiting until Sunday, some friends and I always watch together, and knowing a bunch of other fans are at the same time, kind of a joy of community thing. Having to step carefully the next few days... Also really hoping the finale doesn't leak.

reply

Yeah, stay off youtube and twitter or just go incognito mode. If you click a few youtube videos about the show, leaked clips will start popping up in the related videos. I ended up watching it because I got tired of constantly blocking channels and feeds. All I'll say is if you know nothing about the plot beyond the official promo, keep it that way. This particular episode is a big one, and you want to take it in all at once. It is still going to be awesome to see on the big screen Sunday night, and the internet is going to be lit up like wildfire.

reply

I'll add to be careful about newspapers and other websites. They are literally revealing the entire plot.

reply

I didn't even know episode 6 leaked as a video, I thought just the storyline leaked.

That's what happened with me with episode 5, I checked on a yt video on episode 5 preview and the YouTuber also spoiled the leak storylines.

reply

Please be courteous regarding spoilers. Some people want to wait for Sundays to get the full effect of new developments in HD, some do not have access to leaked footage, and nobody thinks you're clever or cool or funny because you ruined their surprise.

reply

I agree with what people have been saying about starting threads containing spoilers. But I will just say, that the safest route for a pure viewing experience, if that's what you need, is to avoid message boards altogether ESPECIALLY when an episode (s) has leaked well ahead of its air date. I'm not trying to be combative, I'm just stating the obvious.

reply

Totally agree. If I don't want a show to be spoiled, I won't go to message boards where people are discussing the show.

Not rocket science.

reply

OMG Thank you. Seriously. Now I've willingly gone into spoiler territory. And I've started threads that had spoilers yet labeled them accordingly. But the one time I actually spoiled something by responding to a thread I mistakenly thought was spoiler territory, I got the third degree from some self righteous whiner named Deliciousfeet who actually referred to herself as a victim. Its unbelievable that people aren't grown up enough to understand that asking politely doesn't mean people aren't going to go out of their way to be pricks on message boards.

Here's the full exchange if you care to read the horror:

Same person who referenced "dick cancer" above, apparently.

Odd to me that someone would go to message boards at all if they were worried about being spoiled. But then they expect everyone there to tiptoe around them. And then they go to a thread that actually says "spoilers" in the subject line, and complain about getting spoiled. And then wish cancer upon anyone who posts spoilers.
