Do you believe Cersei is pregnant? SPOILERS

Cause the first thing that came into my mind is.. what a lying manipulative biatch. She found out about Jamie's meeting with Tyrion and I have a feeling she's afraid they will turn him against her, so she's trying to manipulate Jamie and shift his focus on herself... and make him loyal to her.. she's totally capable of that. Faking a miscarriage later is pretty easy, especially with Qyburn by her side...

reply

She probably is because she wants to break the prophecy.

reply

No I think its legit. And if you read the spoilers and know about the miscarriage, then you know it happens after Jaime leaves.

reply

I didn't read any spoilers I was just thinking out loud... there are spoilers about this? Well you just spoiled it for me...

reply

Why would you bring up miscarriage at all if you haven't read spoilers? In the grand scheme of things its not a huge spoiler.

reply

Because of what I wrote in the thread, I honestly though she was lying, and if she lies about pregnancy, she would have to fake miscarriage later to get out of it... It didn't occur to me she would actually be pregnant again and trying to break that prophecy as another user wrote but it makes sense. and no it's not a big spoiler haha :) I wasn't mad or anything...

reply

Well sorry for spoiling it. At her age, miscarriage is pretty common anyway

reply

I literally guessed the spoiler without even trying haha ;)

reply

Not cool...might edit that post as the thread does not indicate spoilers...and it's not the spoilers opinion that counts in this instance...it's obviously the opinions of those being spoiled! Let's not let this place turn into the cesspool that IMDb devolved into, where the notion that an unspoiled viewer should just stay away from the site in general rather than avoiding topics where spoilers are indicated. Not trying to be a dick...just don't want to be spoiled when I've taken measures not to be.

reply

I added spoilers tag in the title, it's all I can do as I didn't actually post a spoiler, I was guessing that Cersi is lying and somehow it became a spoiler when other said smth similar will actually happen. it was not my intention with original post.

reply

Oh, it's likely enough. She's still young enough, she and Jamie are a fertile pair who've been going at it, and without using any preventatives. So it's not only physically likely, it's an interesting plot twist, because now she'll have to marry someone, if he baby is born out of wedlock it can't inherit the throne and she does want a dynasty. Will she have the nerve to do the Targaryan thing and marry Jamie? Since Euron is her only strong military supporter left, will she have to marry him? How will she keep him in line if she does?

And BTW, I just put somone on "ignore" for posting spoilers with no cover or warning.

reply

but that alone does no one else any good...it's about community. As I said, I wasn't trying to be an ass...I just find the indifference of good people to be more harmful than the misdeeds of bad. Not that spoiling is an actual misdeed, nor the poster a bad person but you get the idea. And I don't put people on ignore unless I reach an impass after civilized discourse...also not into snitching so I've yet to report anyone on a site...just my way.

reply

The best way to avoid spoilers is to avoid message boards. Assume everyone is an asshole.

reply

notion that an unspoiled viewer should just stay away from the site in general rather than avoiding topics where spoilers are indicated...

Yeah...kind of already covered that.
And typically that applies to shows that have already aired...not for spoilers from leaked episodes where the lion share of the audience is unaware.

But I get it...it's much more difficult to admit ones mistakes, right the wrongs and police ones actions...much easier to blame the victim righ?

reply

Grow up. Its a message board for a TV show for Christ sakes. And it was pretty big public news that HBO was hacked so assuming spoilers are out there unfiltered is a pretty realistic approach. So please stop whining. Save your victim hood comments for someone who gives a shit.

reply

I feel pretty grown thanks...you seem like a spoiled brat that got too much love from mommy...you arethe type of cunt I won't abide...and this the uncivilized conversation I won't partake in...

reply

I only have one basic reason for putting people on "ignore", and that is if I decide they're not worth talking to. The most common way to convince me of that is to post offensive comments, or comments that are both offenseive and stupid, but there are other ways.

And I'm so freaking sick of the jerks who feel that posting spoilers and ruining other people's fun makes them cool somehow. They don't deserve to be included in fandom discussions.

reply

I feel ya. Luckily this sitehasn't had a lot of the spoilers that you mention...the kind that do it just to be cool or dickish. Just like the above poster...I know he had no malice...just inconsideration. It's not the being spoiled that really pisses me off...it's the fact that after having it pointed out the original spoiler just sits there waiting to fuck up someone else's viewing experience...inconsideration and an inability to own up will be the end to this once great experiment.

reply

She's in her mid 40's on the show. That means she is close to menopause. Women can have children in their 40s but its dangerous. The chances of miscarriage are much higher.

reply

If The Queen IS indeed pregnant by her dearest Jaimie it puts a whole new angle into the story-
AND what the hell is Euron gonna say lol
'Im taking my thousand warships and going home!?!' Like Charlie Brown and his football...?
We shall see!

reply

I hope she dies giving birth to a dwarf.

reply

That is in fact the ultimate way for Cersei's end.

She gives birth, takes a good look of what came out, and it's an imp. Cersei's in shock. The camera pans over to Qyburn twiddling his thumbs in the corner smirking. Cersei screams and passes out. Jaime shakes his head knowing his incestuous relationship caused this, says "nope" and leaves.

reply

That would be good. Inbreeding plus her age plus god knows what concoctions Qyburn is feeding her, could result in all kinds of birth defects. She could produce a monster baby.

reply

Well, she did already produce a monster baby once!

I'm really surprised the other two Lannister sibling babies turned out that normal. Gilly's baby as well (so far).

But I agree, at her age and with Killburn things could go awry. Or she might have started "the change" already, and why not use it to manipulate Jaime some more... I don't trust this Cersei woman!

reply

I want that monster baby NOW!

Hey MMaya...saw by notification that you responded to a post of mine. As I have gASSHAT on ignore(should have taken otters advice and just ignored immediately) I don't seem to be able to read the full body of your text. I did manage to glean the relevant info...that being that you put spoiler warnings in the thread title. I do hope that saves others from being spoiled, but we both know who would be able to rectifying the situation entirely. Whether too lazy, stupid, stubborn or just mean spirited to edit his own post,he has decided to double down and blame board members that approached the topic with tact. I mean think of the audacity involved with not just spoiling a thread, but spoiling the thread RIGHT TO THE THREAD STARTERS FACE!?! Spoiling the author of what would have been an engaging topic. After his actions...what was there to discuss or speculate upon?
And I'm of the opinion that gASSHOLE did it on purpose. The context of what you wrote clearly defined your statement as a speculation. One would have to be a total dick or read below a third grade level to miss that. Also...after finding out you got spoiled was he sincerely apologetic? Did he offer to amend his mistake to further the integrity of a potentially interesting topic? No...he blames everybody but himself and allows his original sin to remain. I guess I view it as extremely poor etiquette plain and simple...I weep for the future...

reply

Hey it's ok I just said I put spoiler in thread title and that unfortunately I can not delete or hide his actual spoiler, and that it wasn't my intention so spoil everyone although I accidentally stepped into a spoiler myself. :) But I do get why you are upset, even tho this really isn't a major spoiler, attitude like this ruined imdb boards. But don't take it too personally :)

reply

It must be settled by combat!

reply

Ha!! Nice one :)))
Literally laughed out loud at that

I wasn't blaming anyone or taking offense with self righteous indignation. I was just calling DFeet a baby.

But really, the incredible over-sensitivity on display by this chick is surreal. I'm not a troll. I engage in real conversation on this board and when I post a topic that has spoilers I label it accordingly. When I stumble into topics that have spoilers but aren't labelled as such I don't cry about it. Its par for the course when it comes to internet message boards. If I really cared that much about avoiding spoilers at all costs, I wouldn't come here because I'm self aware enough to know that in objective reality, forums like these can't be policed according to my subjective sense of what constitutes proper etiquette in the anonymous universe that is the world wide inter-webs.

I also see that Deliciousfeet continues to write about me but puts me on ignore so she doesn't have to be subjected to the idea that I might have the last word. Classic SJW move Deliciousfeet, good luck living in a world that doesn't give two shits about your feelings.

That never even crossed my mind until a friend mentioned it as her theory last night.

My thing is, if Cersei is lying, even she has to have the foresight that at some point, she will have to:

A: Actually get herself pregnant soon so she can deliver, so to speak.

2: Cover it up by having a fall or something, causing a "miscarriage" before she were to be showing.

Of course, neither of these logistics would stop her.
