Proof of Nolan’s insanely rabid fanbase

This incredibly average sci-fi movie has an 8.6 solely because of the name in the director’s slot. I don’t dislike Nolan nor do I dislike this movie, but wow. Why does he get so much praise? Because he managed to make Batman interesting? I genuinely think Ad Astra would also have an 8.6 if Nolan directed it, and this movie would have a 7.2 if Joebob McNobody directed it.

Interstellar is one of the greatest films ever made, if anything it's underrated and nitpicked to death. Nolan haters are so stupid and pathetic they never should have been allowed to even vote on IMDB.

"Nolan’s insanely rabid fanbase"!!!

agreed, its one of my favorite movies. i got the 4k with all the behind the scenes stuff, how they did the music score was absolutely incredible...

Don't know who Nolan was until now but thought this movie sucked like most space-scifis.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

My opinion on this flick is that it's just average or maybe a little more. I did chuckle a bit when they talked about the Moon ladings being faked.

Then when you finished you put on Transformers again.

Oh Fuck No.

Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and they all stink.

Opinions are like Big Mac Meals. They look good on the outside and most of the time they are good on the inside, but now and then you just get sick of that pickle.

Great film. Was blown away when they lost so much time being on Miller's Planet and then that mountain range that turned out to be a giant wave. 25 years wasted away, for what? A disaster of epic proportions.

They should have gone to Edmond's and Mann's planets first, even if it would have taken months to get there in hypersleep, and then saved Miller's for the end, so as not to callously lose so much time for the people back on earth.

reply

It was actually a tide that took 20 years to come in not a wave.

reply

absolutely right

reply

Maybe we can vote it down because it sucks so bad.

The only thing I can remember is half the cinema patrons dead or pretending to be and giant robot in outerspace. And of course, the great Matthew Mcconaughey.
