On a scale on 0-10 how did you like Home Alone 2?

Me I give Home Alone 2 a 9/10, it's not quite as great as the classic original but it is a great movie and a lot of fun to watch, the booby trap sequence in 2 was superior to the original but the rest of the film wasn't quite as great as the original.

6/10. It's a rehash of the first film with more darker booby traps. Speaking of which, some of the booby traps were kind of hard to watch. It's still funny and sentimental, most particularly with Brenda Fricker's Pigeon Lady. Tim Curry was hilarious in this film. Seeing 1992 New York City is a bit of a time capsule for those who lived through it. The soundtrack was great.

I'd say the same score as the first. Tim Curry's presence elevates the movie by one point, but Donald Trump's presence removes that point.

An 8/10. I enjoy it as much as the first.

4. This is a stange movie for me. I always remember it very fondly. But I always forget how cartoony and over the top silly the shenannigans are. I mean the first one has solid slap stick Three Stooges antics going on. Really nice throwback humor. But this one is just plain kid's movie dumb. But it's got a great cast, and it really features NYC well, really a gorgeous movie to look at.

I agree. It’s a gorgeous movie and I like the Christmas vibe but it is too “kiddie” for me to really enjoy.

5/10 for me. I do not like the sequence of events at the Christmas program. Buzz comes off as a real tool of a bully (unlike the original, where I thought the interaction between Buzz and Kevin was more "typical older/younger brother" stuff). The parents come across as really horrible parents...if I'd been Buzz's dad and he was pulling those tricks during the program (ruining my other son's "shining moment"), I'd have gone up on stage and dragged him off ASAP. And Uncle Frank comes across very poorly also.

To be honest, the original is such a classic and it really didn't need a sequel. The parents lose the same kid twice in two years? It just isn't the same as the original, IMO.

Barely watchable for me. The pigeon lady was the worst part. 2/10

I liked the pigeon lady actually, and I loved her little hidey hole in the storage attic of the Met.
