as Jeff Healey is singing the closing song, it cuts to Dalton jumping into the lake naked to meet the equally naked Doc.. and there's Jeff sitting under a tree playing the guitar like a third wheel.. why is he even there?

"Jumping the shark" presupposes that the program had some initial merit that was lost at some clearly definable point. Like it or hate it, Roadhouse was consistent from beginning to end.
