Since Martin Riggs is the Lethal Weapon Maybe Murtaugh has been Murdered and it doesn't make add up since he's been retired for awhile

Dan Lin, who produced the recent Lethal Weapon TV show, says that the original Murtaugh and Riggs may be going on one last adventure.share
“We’re trying to make the last Lethal Weapon movie,” Lin said, “And [Richard] Donner’s coming back. The original cast is coming back. And it’s just amazing. The story itself is very personal to him. Mel and Danny are ready to go, so it’s about the script.”
I guess this means Mel Gibson’s exile from Hollywood is officially over. It’s hard to say exactly when it ended. Getting nominated for Oscars was a pretty clear sign that he was mostly forgiven.
It has been 22 years since the last Lethal Weapon (which wasn’t great). Gibson is 64 and Glover is 73. What do you think? One more Lethal Weapon or have you had enough already?

shareI love the Lethal Weapon film series and would watch a 5th, although it's a terrible idea since they are way too old. If it was just Gibson, it wouldn't be right. The pair and how they clash has always been what's funny.
