Today Lethal Weapon is better than Die Hard

I think that Lethal Weapon deserved credit for humanizing the action genre before Die Hard did.

Both are good but LW is deeper in characterization, theme.

I like both. Dont see a reason to compare them.

Today? It was always better. Better acting, better story lines, better humor, better action, better character development.
