Would OJ have been a good Terminator?

He recently passed away and since he was a big contender. I wonder if he could have been good in the role

I heard that supposedly a studio executive considered OJ for the role at first but Cameron thought he wouldn't be believable as a killer and instantly rejected the idea.

And considering he got away with blatant murder, Cameron was actually right. =P

😂

reply

Maybe , but unlikely to be better than Arnold

reply

Honestly, I can't stand the guy and will not mourn him in any way. However, yes, I do think he could have pulled off playing an emotionless killer.

reply

Yeah. The Naked Gun 1 and 2 are good therapy for dealing with what he did.

reply

Yes! And for the always hilarious Leslie Nielsen!

reply

well he was the terminator in real life, I'd say yes.

from what i heard arnold had some ideas on how a robot man should maneuver, i wonder how oj would have portrayed the robot side of the character, movement and all.

Arnold was the only actor who could play the t-800. I read his book and it said he learned to field strip every weapon he used in the film… while blindfolded. Guy literally was a machine.

Second choice would be lance henrikson (who I think was considered). He showed he could play an android in aliens. Robert Patrick made t-1000 his own as well.

I’ve seen OJ in Capricorn One, Towering Inferno & the Naked Guns and I can’t remember anything he did or said. He had no screen presence. I’m sure he was a great nfl player, but he wasn’t an actor.

OJ'S TERMINATOR MOVIE MAY HAVE BEEN DECENT...IT WOULD HAVE BEEN QUICKLY FORGOTTEN THOUGH.

reply

I do think he could have played it but it's hard to see anyone other than Arnold in the role.

reply

Actually yes he would have made a very good terminator but not The Terminator.

Firstly, he’s black and it makes little sense for the machines to send a black man to blend into 80’s America and kill Sarah. Secondly he’s not the leap-off-the-screen behemoth that is Arnold.

But as a secondary future-war terminator he would have looked good.
