Has anyone actually had a nightmare with Freddy in it?

No but in my youth I had a recurring nightmare of being hunted by a being probably inspired by Freddy and maybe Dreamscape too. It was a bald guy with a big snake body below the waist, and two snake like tentacles coming out behind his arms and curving up above his shoulders, pointed forward.

I did dream about Freddy once. But the dream only lasted a few seconds so he couldn't do anything to me. Then I woke up. Haven't dreamed about him. My most frequent dream is being at work working.

Yeah, I dreamt I was the lead singer in a rock band called Queen and a guy called Farrokh Bulsara told lies about me and caused me to leave the band. He then replaced me as lead singer and took credit for the bands success.

Nothing with Freddy in, but I do often have dreams where there I am in bed and I realise there is somebody in the room with me. But it's too dark to see who they are, I can just make out a shape. I always know they mean me harm. Often I try to react in some way, but can't move. I would often be trying to move so hard, I'd wake myself up in real life. It can be quite disconcerting to wake up in a bed, directly from having a nightmare about being in the same bed.

On some occasions, usually when I was younger, though I can't move or call out in the dream, I suddenly have a moment of realisation. Often I'd say; "Oh. It's you...." as if I understood why the figure was here. On waking, I have no memory of who I believed the person was.

Last time I had the dream, it was different. I heard somebody heavily pounding on my front door. Again I couldn't get up or move, but the pounding continued, as if somebody was in trouble. Again, on trying to move so much, I woke myself up. I had to get up, just to double check nobody was there.

Not really a Freddy dream, but certainly an evil presence involved. I recently looked it up, and apparently it's not uncommon to have dreams about demons in the room, and not being able to move to fight them. Weird stuff.

Yes many times as a kid. I would wake up in the dream in the living room, lights are all on. Then I hear Freddy calling for me from over by the upstairs. I walk over there and he jumps from behind the wall and right before he stabs me I wake up. So strange I remember that.

I've had dreams about things in this series, but not Freddy - very strange.

I vaguely remember a dream about being in a laundry room and Freddy was there and started hopping around all crazy like Wolverine coming after me
