I know he prefers the Bob Ross look now and it does enhance the big Afro style of the American Black Movement of yore, but when I look at his facial features the dude looks like an Arab of the Saudi Peninsula variety. He could even pass for an Oriental Jew (Jews who remained in the Middle-East after the Romans expelled them from Judea).

But, yeah, I'd guess Middle Eastern before African-American. There's a reason why his attempted afro is such a poofy deal. Bob Ross' was SO MUCH better!
I don't either, but his faux Ebonics and his phony self-awareness annoy me more than the actual problems he's trying to address.
For me, a lot of the problems in the black community come from perpetual poverty which leads to a large portion of the youth breaking the law as minors and carrying a criminal profile into early adulthood. It doesn't help when successful blacks like Kanye West or any slew of rappers drown themselves in splendor and wealth yet try to play up their blackness while they wine and dine with non-Blacks and indulge in materialism that does nothing for the black community overall. But that's another story.
Yeah, he's certainly doing the Rachel Dolezal thing, with trying to be as "ethnic" as he can, whether he really is or not. After all, he's making tons from Nike, who uses slave labor to produce their junk.

As for being "half black", it seems nobody is half black anymore. If there's one particle of black DNA bouncing around their bloodstream somewhere, they are just black. You're not supposed to mention the white part.
