Why has she decided to do this to herself?
The woman has one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen, her beauty is striking. Yet she has chosen to be fat. Why on earth would she do this to herself?

shareYou think she has 'chosen' to be fat?
That's like saying someone has 'chosen' to be short.
Talk about an inaccurate parallel.
Generally speaking, people "choose" to be overweight due to voluntary choices like overeating, unhealthy diet and not enough exercise. Short people, by contrast, are born short and had zero choice in the matter.
It's nothing deep; it's simple common sense.
Genetics also plays a big part in a person's weight. No one chooses to be fat.

That's why I said "generally speaking." In most cases, however, it's due to the reasons I cited, which people definitely have control over due to volition.
shareEven for those of us who *are* genetically predisposed toward carrying extra adipose tissue, that means we need to work even *harder* to stay in fit and healthy condition, not that we should let ourselves go, and then start some angry social movement to make everybody think it's beautiful.
The oft-repeated idea that we can be both overweight and healthy has been debunked: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/can-you-be-overweight-and-still-be-fit
I'm with you.
shareLOL. Are you retarded? C'mon, man.
I've lost about 30 lbs in the past year through intentional effort. I don't know of any natural ways to effect my height though.
Did you deliberately 'choose' to be 30 pounds heavier before your weight loss?
shareNot exactly. But once I realized I was fat--which she clearly realizes and just doesn't give a fuck--then I devised a plan to do something about it, enacted that plan, and then saw results.
Obviously she knows she's overweight and is choosing to not do anything about it. That's certainly her right as a sovereign human being. But don't pretend it's anything else or act like she's powerless against these forces that are working against her.
Losing weight was a choice for you, but not being fat (or I should say 30 pounds heavier).
Maybe McCain has not made that choice to lose weight, but - like you - she has not chosen to be fat.
Gaining (or losing) weight is something you notice every week, if not every day - yet you say you didn't notice yourself being 30 pounds overweight until you 'realized' it. Or did you not 'give a fuck' as you accuse McCain of doing?
It's something that kind of creeps up on you, especially if you don't weigh yourself regularly, because the small day-to-day physique changes are not noticeable until they add up over time and then one day you look at yourself in the mirror and realize that things have changed.
While it was not a conscious decision to allow this to happen, make no mistake, it WAS the result of choices that I made. My excessive caloric intake via poor eating habits and drinking more than I should have, combined with a lack of exercise, resulted in fat storage. It didn't happen by magic.
Quite ignorant. She is not YOU. It's not always because a person is overeating gross amounts of food. And yes, some people are very much powerless to an extent. That's like asking why you did not complete college (in case you didn't), when it was so smooth & easy for others.
shareShe could lose weight if she wants to. I'm not saying it would be easy. I wouldn't say it was easy for me. It definitely requires dedication. There will be false starts and regressions, too. But it can be done if the motivation is there.
There's no one on this earth who is incapable of decreasing the amount of fat tissue that they have. The body human body just doesn't work that way.

Why she choose to be fat could be because she likes being fat and doesn't want to bother with losing weight for anything. She's into that body confidence thing so, yeah...
"This hit me in a personal way," she said, recalling that her very first guest appearance on The View was to respond to being fat-shamed by Laura Ingram. "I have been fat-shamed publicly and humiliated my entire career. When you say something like, 'Sometimes, fat-shaming is good,' it really hurts me."
She continued, "This rhetoric is dangerous and I want to tell all the girls here: I'm a conservative political analyst; I'm still a very a very political person no matter what (Kelly) has decided to do with her career. To be on TV and do what I want to do here, I've never had to lose a pound. I've got a hot husband, I've got a cool job. I've never lost weight for anything."
Other than that, she is stunning in that pic when she had less lard. Sadly it was soon replaced by the land whale we see today but her thoughts are still the same at least. Anyways who cares? It's not like she wants you as she's already married.
Even most actresses aren't as beautifully facially as she was, the woman won the looks lottery and then threw it away for food and phony body positivity. She's massive now.
shareWell-said. She was definitely a nice looking girl when she was thinner. Even when she was just a little overweight she was still hot. These days though she's crossed the line.
shareif she had this big-ass choice, why would she "decide"" to be obese? No fast and hard rules. You're overlooking many who have a "set-point", along with a slower metabolism. And especially with women, a natural lower muscle- vs. fat mass, since muscle burns calories faster than fat.
There is also the theory about crash-dieting lowering your metabolism since crash-dieting causes drastic reduction of fat, not muscle--so when you gain the weight back, it's even harder to lose because you've replaced too much muscle mass with fat.
Same with my Ex. She went from looking like a mix of Jaclyn Smith and Valerie Bertinelli when we dated during and after college, to Kathy Bates in Misery (plus 50 pounds) when I saw her 5 years after we broke up.
shareHave you ever tried cake, donuts, ice cream and pie?????????
.... cast the first stone,,, I mean donut.
There is some truth to this post. Meghan has won (as the original poster put it) the looks lottery, yet she chooses to remain unhealthy by being overweight. I am aware that genetics do play a role in people being overweight, but in Meghan's case she is a rich girl, and can do something about it. I'm not saying go the surgery route! I wouldn't recommend that to anyone, but a proper diet and exercise would help her. Janet Jackson also has the obesity gene, and with proper diet and exercise was able to slim down (although I am not sure what she looks like nowadays, but she did lose a ton of weight). Now, I'm not saying Meghan needs ripped abs, and all that, but her current weight is not a healthy one, and she does have the time, and the financial means to do something about it. I will say that I do think that she is stunningly beautiful regardless of her weight. I'd date her in a heartbeat even if she is overweight. Unfortunately, her weight issues will eventually lead to health problems later in her life. I'd still date here though, she's stunning... did I already say that? I probably did :-)
shareShe's running her mouth again. probably listening to her twice-fired husband (plagiarism).
shareYeah, she's a numb nuts. She's pretty, but you couldn't pay me any dollar amount to date her. She called Bumbling Buffoon Biden her Uncle Joe... She's a part of the reason the country is in the shitter. I have no sympathy for her fat self.
