Because the only thing I know her from is that dreadful remake of True Grit. And that feels like it was made about a year ago.

This is absurd and probably a troll but it certainly seems like there a some major definition creep going on around this term when it's being applied to girls that are 25. On the plus side, if this continues, I get to be a "kid" again if the definition of a "child" creeps a bit more. lol
