There is nothing you can do about it. taylor swift and people like her have a huge amount of power, simply by saying something, people will believe it instead of thinking for themselves and making a choice...
Right now today, in 2024 we live in a celebrity obsessed world, i don't care if the celebrity is conservative or liberal... but we really need to create a culture that doesn't worship famous people. the europeans laugh at this stuff, theres a saying that goes along the lines of "only in america do singers and sports people have importance"
we need to change the culture. because if a singer can change the outcome of elections, be it kid rock or taylor swift, then we're f-ked.
personally i can only vote based on inteligence and thinking for myself. i can't do anything about that 22 year old manchild who has a vote, dances to taylor swift and would vote for hitler if "tay-tay" told him to.
The only reason tRump has had any success in politics is due to his celebrity status.
If people can be influenced to vote for celebrity tRump, they can certainly be influenced by an even bigger celebrity to vote against tRump.
I'd agree that trump got to a certain level thanks to his celebrity status, something i don't really like...
but unless we're going to be rosie o'donnell, trump did well in business and did well in international business. that translated well into a economy that improved and for the first time in a very long time a president who didn't start some silly war somewhere that has nothing to do with us. and now thats a fact, unless democrats already see war as a good thing.
so it's different to compare taylor swift with trump, one is good at business and the other sings songs about her exboyfriend.
i would listen to a business man before someone who dances and sings for 12 year old kids showing her ass.
