shareWTF is going on is a bunch of woke, leftist radicals has been voted into office, and they are deliberately turning their backs on something called "broken windows policing" that has a proven track record of success, and which, under Rudy Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg, turned New York City into one of the safest big cities, if not the safest in the U.S. Broken windows policing means enforcing the law even against minor, so-called "quality of life" crimes like littering, trespassing, turnstyle jumping, petty vandalism, etc. because visible signs of crime, anti-social behavior and civil disorder, if allowed to persist, create an urban environment that encourages further crime and disorder, including serious crimes.
Broken windows policing works. But New York, and other large Democrat-run cities have turned their backs on it, because enforcing the law and holding people accountable for the crimes they commit is racist now. Combine that with a spate of Soros prosecutors who won't prosecute even for major felonies, and bail "reform" laws that result in even violent repeat offenders not being held while awaiting trial, and you get a city like New York descending back into the crime and squalor from which Giulani raised it.
I guess too many people who vote in NYC watched old movies like "The Warriors" and "Taxi Driver" and so on, and decided they were nostalgic for the "good" old days.
Tax cuts. Not as bad as UK though where everything is falling apart.

shareThe UK is probably the least racist country in Europe (for now), maybe apart from the Scandinavians, so the 3rd world is moving in and turning it into the 3rd world. The circle of life.
shareIt's hard to quantify a country as being most or least racist, but I would agree that UK is not inherently racist anymore. Any country that is diverse can not be accused of being racist especially when countries like Japan and China have almost no diversity and are never accused of racism.
