I believe she had the audacity to express opinions. A mere actor, and a female one to boot, expressed a point of view that was not subordinate to, and in accordance with, the dearly held beliefs of the gammon amongst us. So outraged were they that sites were sought whereon they expressed their displeasure! Having so voted the evidence of their act was held up as proof positive that this person was guilty of causing annoyance and therefore deemed unworthy.

shareI've no particular opinion on Watson (I've never been particularly impressed by her acting, but she's also never really appeared in anything I really wanted to watch so that's kind of a no score draw) but I'm amazed AmIAnnoying.Com is still around, and as far as I can remember still has more or less the same site design as it did when I first stumbled on it back in 2004. It seemed to fit the online culture and general mood of those times, I would have thought people would have found it a bit mean-spirited now.

My point was JK Rowling was not directly responsible to Watson's being cast in Harry Potter movies. She didn't even make nor direct the movies. She just sold the rights of her novels. WB made the movies.
