It's no longer enough to like obscure movies and bands to be cool.

To really stand out as an individual now, you need your own pronouns and gender.

It is nothing more than the manifestation of mental illness and a ploy to get attention by being part of a victim group. It is a mass-hysteria fad that will probably pass.

I don't care what she does or calls herself but I'll never refer to a woman as man or a man as a woman or a pig as an airplane or a pencil as a tidal wave, etc., etc., etc.

Agreed. She can do whatever she wants. She just should not expect the rest of the world to indulge her lunacy.
