shareI don't know about JLH specifically, but it's not completely nonsensical. I know many people, including myself, that wish they had celebrated the beauty of their youth more than they did when they had it.
I used to be in great shape 20 years ago, fit and cut. But I also spent my early adult life in the Marines and that was just the normal condition for everybody. Now that I'm 50 and pudgy around the middle, I look back at it and wish that I had appreciated it more, documented it more, and flaunted it much more while I still had it.
So hearing that an aging star, that was once known for her top tier good looks, wishes that she had done more to expose that at the time is certainly not out of the question.
Yeah but like you said, "while you had it", so did many men in their 20's, so you probably didn't see yourself as much of a big deal compared to your peers, and worthy of "flaunting". Sure looking back, most of us wish we had our 20-something body again, but how were we to know that we'd someday lose it? I never thought like that either. It seemed there would always be time to "flaunt it".

Sure I have regrets in midlife, but feel I have made peace with it , and feel I made the right choices in some ways. After all, the clock of life cannot be rewound. I highly doubt that for both of them.
1) Most actresses feel the other way about doing nudity early in their careers. They regret doing it and feel like they were exploited.
2) Kristen Bell did a whole lot of sexual content in her career, especially Forgetting Sarah Marshall and House of Lies. She had no problem showing 95% of her body, and she looked good doing it. I really don't think she sits around regretting not showing the world the other 5%.
3) Both of them could still do it if they really wanted too. Even while approaching 50, if they dedicated themselves to getting into good shape, they could do a nude scene, and most of their fans would still LOVE it.
