He had (for me) a memorable cameo in Everybody Loves Raymond. Too bad he couldn't have been a recurring character in that.

He was a funny guy and *very* uniquely talented.

Pee-Wee is gone! NOOO!!! RIP!

I don't know what is more surprising, that he is dead or that he was 70 years old. People of a certain age grew up with Pee-Wee's Playhouse. I didn't, but caught the show as an adult and thought it was very funny. In "Blow" he showed he definitely could act--it was a vey good performance. And who can forget his Tequila Dance.
