The Village of Glen Ellyn, Illinois is my hometown. Hence, my screen name. I do realize it's confusing to determine whether I'm male or female, but I guess that's what makes it interesting. 😉 Definitely female, born and bred, so to speak. 💃🏻

You go, Girl! I assumed GlenEllyn was a combo of your husband’s and your name. I got you beat then as my hometown is Saint Cloud as in Florida, not Minnesota. So…it must make me a Saint with a red Solo cup. Cough, Cough! 🙄

Are you certain? It seems to be the growing thing…akin to cancer. Not too sure what gender we are these days. We are slowly being indoctrinated to be what we have wished to be. Pre-teen I wanted to be a boy as I was a tomboy. Then about the age of 14 hormones kicked in and I became boy crazy! 🥰

I suspect some folks did think it was a combination of a husband's and wife's name. I know plenty of folks focus on the Glen and rather than the Ellyn, but whatever. I'd probably do the same. But I often think of Glen, as in Glenn Close, or glen as in a small, narrow, secluded valley. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I live in the other St. Cloud, so there! 😉🤭

Life is confusing these days, isn't it? We are what we are.

You made me smile 😘, but I’m fairly certain I am. You know you’re old when you get out of bed in the morning and wonder if it’s time for bed. 🤭 Seriously, I’m so out of my realm here. I don’t speak the same language most of these guys, gals, its, do.

All we have left at my age are memories. Someone said recently we’re dropping like flies. That’s the problem with being from a very small town. You know everyone who attended school with you. You know their parents, their kids, etc. You find yourself saying “I’ve got to tell Judy that! Or Roger! Or whomever. Oh, wait! I can’t! They’re dead!”

Sorry! I’m down in the dumps, Not only as you know my daughter is very ill, my precious little Yorkie is ill. Just got her out of the hospital.
