WEATHER ALERT!!!

It did not snow here today.......................

What about your own weather?????

reply

Where is here?

It never snows in LA, unless you're up in the mountains, so no snow here either.

MCMC is not crap, it's lots of fun.

You should join in, we have a fun time every weekend.

reply

I'm genuinely a curious person by nature, but why is your username "deleted"?? I see this quite often on this site?? 🤔

reply

That was Hownos. He deleted his account. You can't be serious.

I love AIRPLANE!! Imagine showing that in 2024 on the silver screen and the outrage that would follow afterwards?? 😂

reply

When did this happen and why? A couple days ago he returned from self-imposed break and now he quit the site for good?

reply

I see you already found it but here is a link to the rabbit hole:

Movie stars used to go to Miami in the winter to "work on their tans." I didn't think it would be 80 in Arizona in March.

reply

Just a bit chilly and breezy, I made sure to have panic attack anyway.

reply

Chilly in St.Louis MO and Cloudy with a temperature of 36 degrees and today's high only 55 degrees

reply

Still too cold to wear shorts and sandals.

reply

Saturday 1:20 EST New York

Chilly and persistent rain, worried about basement getting damp but overall not terrible weather, more like a typical goddam March day here.

reply

The big snow show starts here late morning tomorrow. I'm ready to hole up for a couple of days. Still predicting up to 17 inches of the white stuff with high winds (30-40 mph). It'll be messy but I don't need to go anywhere so I'm good.

reply

Jeez, you upper Mid Western folk are tough people!

reply

This winter has been a huge dud, so I'm kind of looking forward to this storm. The 6 inches we got on Thursday have been melting fairly fast in the ever-stronger sunshine of spring.

reply

We had an easy winter here on the East Coast, only a few minor snowfalls and storms.
I'll be glad for the days of cutting grass and outdoor campfires:)

reply

We really need to moisture this snowfall will bring. We've had drought conditions the past two summers. This year's almost snowless winter has exacerbated our dry conditions. We've been in red flag conditions for the past several weeks and there have been a number of wildfires, but thankfully they've been extinguished pretty quickly. Highly unusual to have fire worries at this time of year.

reply

Jeez, I had no idea.
Yeah, hate to say such a thing but hopefully you all get buried in the white stuff and soon, I wish New York could send you some of rain, it's been nothing but wet and the ground is pretty marshy.

reply

Last summer was a bit unexpected because last winter we got a crazy amount of snow. It felt like we had to shovel every other day. Two inches here, four inches there. It got to be a really annoying chore.

I guess our main climate change challenge is drought.

The main reason I don't live up north.

🥶

reply

Raining for a few hours, 30 mins ago.

reply

A warm front will be pushing up from Iowa late tomorrow night, so it's possible that some of the predicted snowfall will be rainfall instead. We shall see. There is concern for potential power outages due to the moisture-laden spring snow.
