Your Favorite Bands?

I'm sure someone has asked before, but our tastes changes, so let's see where we're at now.. I'm going to try and rank them in order..

Pink Floyd
The Doors
Chicago
Supertramp
The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
The Who
Black Sabbath
The Rolling Stones
Steely Dan
America
ELO
Fleetwood Mac
Curved Air
The Stylistics
Eagles

reply

Great list, I'd only leave off Steely Dan as I don't love their stuff and Curved Air which I'm not aware of. I'd add some metal and punk too but overall cool bands you have playing over there.

I'm a big Iron Maiden Fan and I love The Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Misfits, to name a few.

Also, Van Halen and Guns And Roses are very big deals to me.

Plenty more...Old country is really great but a lot of that was more about the artist and not a particular band.

reply

I notice two bands didn't make your list.

reply

Van Halen
Led Zep
Rolling Stones
Black Sabbath
The Beatles
The White Stripes and Jack Black
The Who
AC/DC
Queens of the Stone Age
Queen
The Ramones

I liked many of the 90s grunge bands too, but none of them I'd rank up there with my favorites. I was born in 74 and the music of the late 60s and 70s is still what connects with me the most.

I thought you would have known Savoy Brown. If you were to check any of them out, Savoy Brown, The Sheepdogs and Stray are probably the ones you'd like the most. The rest are pretty much metal bands.
