I wanted Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkin) to get away with killing his wife in Fracture. Due to her cheating on him and when he describes the crushing feelings he has she says "I really don't think I can do one of these tonight."
I found him so likeable and the police and the prosecutor so dislikable, along with her, that I wanted him to win.
The ending is left open, so hopefully he did.
Any other movies come to mind?
Uh, probably Gerrard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen.
Apparently he was "the villain of the story" but I was still rooting for him.
I HAVE OFTEN BEEN THE VILLAIN OF THE STORY...HE WAS EASY TO ROOT FOR....SOLID FLICK.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - since that was the movie where the series went woke I wanted the Dinosaurs to eat all the hippy environmentalists.

shareIt was the 5th movie after Jurassic World and I only saw it in theaters once. I remember there were a bunch of hippies trying to get dinosaurs off the island but yes InGen engineered a dinosaur bigger than a T-Rex. I don't remember everything about it as I only watched it once.
