My Name is Earl had a fun/interesting premise. I guess 4 seasons should be enough. And I haven't seen all the episodes, but the end still felt abrupt.

Patriot starring Michael Dorman; a dark comedy series on Amazon about an underfunded CIA operative who feels tortured about the terrible things he does in the effort to prevent nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. He preserves his mental stability by bearing his soul in acoustic guitar songs that his handlers hope no one will hear or understand. A clip:

Whiskey Cavalier it was a fun show that was a little different. Deserved more than a season.

New Amsterdam from 2008 another supernatural show about an immortal man only got one season.
