What are you getting for X-Mas?

I got a new iphone which had to begin using right away because I really needed to change my old one... some new clothes and 2 pairs of shoes from Johnston & Murphy.

Still thinking if I should book a hotel that has an on-site spa, get a massage and relax maybe a couple of days before x-mas, like the 22nd or 23rd... it's kinda pricey though... maybe I'll save that for my b-day.

What about you?

reply

Don't know. But I'd rather give than receive a gift. That's not true, I want it all.

reply

You'll get nothing and like it

reply

I’m hoping for DVDs, but we’ll see if the kids told the right people.

reply

😵 Drunk! 🥴

reply

You need to stop typing. You have one week to inform your Toffees to put 5 past the Gunners on Saturday. I want the arseholes relegated.

reply

Arteta must be under a lot of pressure now - losing 1-0 to Burnley. Good win for Everton against Chelsea. Hopefully, they can take this forward and put one over on the Arse.

reply

Arse anal has Southampton, Everton and Chelsea the next three league fixtures. Crossing my fingers for 3 consecutive losses.

reply

Southampton are on a good run of form at the moment - not easy.
Everton - depends which Everton turns up - not easy.
Chelsea - possible contenders - not easy

I can see them coming away with nothing and being sucked into the relegation dogfight.

reply

Imagine if Southampton won the title? I don't think they will, but I'd love it to happen!

reply

Do a Leicester maybe 🤔

reply

Leicester could do a Leicester too!

reply

There’s only 7 points between the top 10. Makes for an interesting season.

reply

I just hope City or Liverpool don't go on a run and break away from the rest making it boring like Utd used to.

reply

Nothing worse than it being ‘all over’ with loads of games left to play. I want final day drama at both ends of the table.

reply

Another 1989!

reply

Arsenal will lose them all, and Arteta will lose his job!

I've been following Arsenal since the 80's, they've turned into Spurs, and Spurs have turned into the Arsenal I once knew!

reply

Mourinho is a top manager with just about the best set of strikers in Europe right now.

reply

Spurs have a great chance, if they don't get their usual injury crisis that is. I wouldn't mind Spurs taking the title, they can sing about winning stuff with the year ending in one again. 😁

reply

It’s definitely a more level playing field (unless you’re Sheffield Utd, lol).

reply

Shame, they did well last season.

reply

They’re going to break the record for the lowest points tally.

reply

For Prem I think it's Derby? Can't remember what old Div1 was.

reply

For some reason 14 pts seems to stick in my mind.

reply

11 by Derby County (2007-08). 😐

reply

Will Sheffield reach double figures?

reply

Will they score into double figures? 😐

reply

You're a gunner? If that's the case, I might have to tone down my Arsenal mocking.

reply

I don't care, they deserve to be mocked, Stan Kroenke ruined the club, and he probably doesn’t care.

reply

A good friend of mine is an Arsenal fan, and I keep making fun that Son and Calvert-Lewin have more goals than their whole team this year. Mocking Arsenal fans is like a drug to me.

I'm a Toronto FC fan and watch MLS only because I have a home team to cheer for. But Premier League is way better obviously. Even though I don't have a favourite Premier League team, I hate Manchester City and Arsenal, so at least I have something to cheer for, or in this case against.

reply

I hate Man City, they'd be nothing without their current owners money, I don't like teams that just buy their way to trophies.

reply

I hate them because after all of the money they spend, fans still don't show up to games. All that money spent and they do almost nothing in Champions League. Also, they're corrupt AF.

reply

Lynx Africa, Highlight of the year 🤨

reply

[deleted]

I buy them as presents, but receive them a gifts every year! 😂

reply

Some very high quality slippers. I'm SO tires of the Wal Mart garbage that feels like you're standing on concrete.

reply

Slam dunk.

reply

Like samoanjoes stated earlier, it's more fun to give gifts than get them (at my age anyway)

I wouldn't decline a case of beer with a pretty bow on it though!
