I've never seen Star Wars. Like ever. Is that weird or unusual?

Is there anyone else here who hasn't seen it? I don't quite understand the fascination.

reply

It's a bit weird, but not unusual?

I've never seen Avatar or any of the Avenger films.

Nor do I even care to.

Aren't you interested in watching Star Wars?

I've never seen any of the franchise. Absolutely no interest.

I've never been a "follower" of trends or popular opinion.

I saw the original when it first came out. I was a high school senior. It's hard to appreciate today how AWESOME it was back then.

reply

There are a lot of big/iconic etc films that I have never seen nor will ever see so I am not surprised by it.

I know I watched the original trilogy with my older siblings at some points back in the 90s.
Then I watched "Phantom Menace", but I never cared much about the franchise after that.
However, my small town had a huge "Star Wars" exhibition in the Summer of 2008.
I managed to ge there during the last weekend, that it was open.

reply

Of course you don't. You haven't seen it.

reply

Razor sharp common sense. OP just wanted to brag about not caring.

reply

Fuck SW. Most overrated Movies ever. I never liked original trilogy. Even as kid, I wasn't impressed.

reply

You do know that ratings are based on people rating them, right? How can they be over rated?
