Fight Club, The Usual Suspects, The Ref, Mirror Mask, John Dies at the End, Old Boy (Korean version), I Saw The Devil, Memories of Murder, The Infernal Affairs trilogy, Man From Nowhere, Love Exposure, Blood In, Blood Out.

There's a few of mine. :)

reply

I get fight club cause love the movie, love the book , but the rest dont seem rewatchable to me but each to there own. And infernal afairss? Like the departed remake thingo? One it was based on? I watched it was shit comparded to departed, witch i now regret adding to my rewatchable list. Departed is awesome.

reply

The departed was the remake. I doubt you have seen i saw the devil and memories of murder.

reply

I know departed was the remake , im saying they made it better with departed, ive seen both. And know i havent seen those, i was just saying saying we shld talk about rewatchable movies and alot of the ones i had seeen outta that bunch seemed to be ..like once youd seen em you kno the end slash gimmick

reply

Plus im drunk so give me lee way , but infernal affairs to me is not rewatchable at all but the departed is,

reply

Infernal Affairs is quite complex. Casual viewing doesn't do it justice and yes, I love Korean movies.

reply

South Korea makes amazing thrillers, I've loved a few as well

reply

Unless you being faceious with them picks

reply

Why would you think I'm being facetious? I can elaborate on all of them, if you'd like.

reply

Nah thought maybe your were like using movies with twist endings as the most rewatchable, which to me dnt make the most sense

reply

The only ones with twist endings are Fight Club, The Usual Suspects and Old Boy.

reply

Yeah but theres a couple in there i hadnt seen thort they may have been and youbwere just fucking with me

reply

No harm no foul usual suspect and fight club are some my fave movies have seen each atleast ten times, fight club probaly twenty time plus, read the book 3 times .

reply

Roger that! :)

reply

I rember showing my dad fight club the movie for the first time, and he is a movie buff, he thought it was shit xause of the title, probs why it made squat at thebox office

reply

Yep. There's a LOT more to it than meets the eye. I read to book, too.

reply

Which you were and instantly ruined with my thread , made me look shit cuz

reply

Old boy!! 👏

i love 'love exposure.'
and i'm not out to pick on your choices.
but when i think of re-watchable films, i think of things that go down easily, short, casual, breezy.
love exposure is a blast, about 5 movies rolled into one, and it's certainly very watchable, but it's just shy of 4 hours long.
if a 4hr movie is among your most re-watchable films, then i salute you.

i could put siono's tag or why don't you play in hell on my own list. they're both lots of fun, all over the place, and they are not 12 billion hours long.

reply

It's not one I re-watch, often. Maybe once a year. You're right. It's a multi-course feast! :)

reply

reply

reply

beyond the valley of the dolls
a ghost story (odd choice perhaps, but i love spending time in its meandering world)
paddington 2
singin' in the rain
the evil dead
repo man
the raid

it's maybe a bit soon to declare this, but i'm throwing spider-verse on here as well. i am embarrassed to say how many times i went to see it in the theatre, & i loved it every time & i can't wait to see it again.

reply

Tell me what you like about Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. I have a poster of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill in my room but I’ve never been a fan of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

reply

i could have picked faster pussycat or vixen in place of beyond...they're all more or less equal in my mind. if beyond stands a little taller with me, it's mostly because it was my first meyers.

i think it's trash nirvana, a silly, goofy, perfect film, nazis, transvestites, lesbians, decapitations, trashy pop songs, boobs. it's everything i've ever wanted in a film.

reply

I have seen jaws (1974) over 100 times easily.

These I have seen at least 50 times:

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Killing Zoe (1993)
The thing (1982)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
A Christmas Story (1983)
Mr Magoo’s a Christmas Carol (1962)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
The Wild Geese (1978)
The Deep (1977)

I am just realizing I have a long list of films I’ve seen at least 20 times. 😳

Oh also Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars.
