Post you film pick here (as a reply to the OP).

After you post you pick here, open a thread on its specific board, with the marker ATM: Film Name.

The form for the content of the thread is pretty open. If you want, you can add questions or discussion points, but those aren’t a must. A short introduction of the film would work as well. Whatever you feel like :)

Oh, Jesus! I'm literally LOL-ing! I'm so tired I didn't notice that at all. Thanks for pointing it out.

We all have different schedules and the club isn't really binding. If you can, you comment, if you can't, you skip a pick. Basically, it's "in your own time" type of deal. Let me know if you decide to join! :)

Ok, let's start with...

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky (1991)
A Hong Kong production based of a Japanese manga. Now, according to the title, the name is Riki, but a few words later it's the story of Ricky. So, I don't know. Quite an accurate representation of the quality of the movie. Still, a very fun movie. Please watch if you haven't. It's available subtitled on YouTube. Nobody cares about copyrights as long as it's not a Hollywood movie lol.

Basically each member picks a movie and then we watch and discuss it on the individual boards. We are currently on My Dinner With Andre. If you want, check out the thread on its board, and you might get an idea of what the basic premise is.

Did you check out the other thread? I think I explained the jist of it there. And if you're interested, that's where you can sigh up :).

I am not part of the club but this is my favorite ghost story of all time. George C Scott was great. Remember it is a low budget Canadian film. Here's the link

I don't remember this happening before for a film pick. The thing is, I can't find it on the "dark side" either... Weird /or good, depending on your perspective/

I did find a very poor quality upload on Youtube, but it's all in Spanish lol. Lets wait for actionkamen to say if the links are working for him. Don't make another pick just on my account.

Don't get your expectations too high. That's a sure way to be disappointed in a film. It's not perfect, but George C. Scott gives an outstanding performance.
