Just added a few new formatting options (remove the spaces between the brackets):

[ b ]bold[ /b ]

[ i ]italic[ /i ]

[ url ]links[ /url ]

[spoiler][ spoiler ]spoiler[ /spoiler ][/spoiler]

[ quote ]quote[ /quote ]

There's also a "formatting help" link whenever you post in case you forget how to do something (https://moviechat.org/formatting).

Just checking. Some poster seemed to be able to change his post number to over 2000+ posts, and I'll be honest, it quickly crossed my mind that it might be possible to pretend to be a Moderator by changing the color of the name.

If Moderator2 is real, then I genuinely apologize, and please excuse my suspicions. I'm more cautious ever since we have troll socks around like Ben/BenCaesar/Wilson/Pinky/Betty/Dane

That is a very scary thought, but I'm pretty sure Mod2 is real. Even if he was faking, I doubt he'd be able to do anything too dangerous without Jim giving him power/access. I have no idea how Memorex altered his post-count; it seems too complicated to be worth the effort.

I can vouch for Moderator2. He is a real mod, and Jim carefully selected him to help out.

As for Memorex changing his post count, we're looking into it, but Jim's the only one who can actually see the code of the site to figure out how that sort of thing could happen.

Yay! Thank you! This is great, as it uses the same formatting code as IMDb, it's like continuing where we left off.
