The U.S. Supreme Court is reconsidering hearing the Brunson v. Adams lawsuit, after previously dismissing it earlier this year. The lawsuit appears to be seeking to remove President Joe Biden, 80, from the White House and reinstate former President Donald Trump, 76, as President of the United States, as it claims that lawmakers violated their oaths of office by refusing to investigate the fraudulent 2020 general election which it claims was rigged in Biden’s favor.

Fingers crossed everyone! Wouldn’t it be amazing if Trump actually won this case and that old codger and his cronies were kicked out of the White House and President Trump reinstated? We can all HOPE right? ….have faith!

From the YahooNews link in the OP:

"The suit called for all 387 members of Congress who voted to certify Biden's electoral votes to be removed from their role..."

I can't believe that that is the legal language in the lawsuit. Typical crap clickbait journalism. I would like to see the actual text.

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/electoral-college-vote-count-biden-victory/

NO ONE in the House or the Senate "voted to certify Biden's electoral votes." There were objections made to propose rejecting some states' electoral college results. There was a process to debate those objections, and none of them were supported by a majority. A distinction AND a difference.

[crappy journalism AND crappy grammar]

From the CBSNews link:

"Since none of these objections have a majority, they had no chance of succeeding. Even if there was a majority on any of the objections, it would not change the outcome of the election."

Correct grammar would be "even if there WERE" or "even if there BE"

"knowutimsayin?" No, I don't. Words have meanings.

The last six pages of the 136-page document, listed as Appendix II, argues the U.S. Constitution and precedent both allow for such decertification to happen. Early on, it also states that Wisconsin state law has nothing to prevent lawmakers from making such a move.

Something to ponder.

After they wimped out 3 years ago, I don't have any faith in them to really get anywhere with this.

What will the Supreme Court do about the reality that there’s no process in place for instating, much less reinstating, a president of the United States? 🤷🏻‍♂️

reply

Good question, they wouldn't be hearing the case if there wasn't a way they could or couldn't reinstate a President.

When I clicked on your link I received the following error:

Hmmm... the page you're looking for isn't here. Try searching above.

Oh well... I guess Trump really has no chance to be reinstated as president.

thats because Yahoo deleted it from their server. they dont want the truth to be known.

The Brunson v. Adams lawsuit claims that lawmakers violated their oaths of office by allegedly failing to investigate a foreign intervention in the 2020 presidential race which rigged the election against Trump.

The case is based on the claim that the defendants—who include Congress members, Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and former Vice President Mike Pence—voted to certify the 2020 presidential election after receiving a valid request from 154 members of Congress to investigate claims of electoral fraud in six states.

reply

Even if/when they find the evidence that it was a rigged election, they would still have to "impeach and convict" Biden, and even then the Constitution outlines a presidential succession plan.

We just need to be patient for 2024-2025 if WW3 does't happen first.

reply

good point, we are in uncharted waters for sure. if the election was decertified, what would happen to Kamala?

if WWIII does happen the next presidential election will be canceled and Biden will remain president. FDR did the same thing.

reply

Yeap, history is usually repeating itself in one form or another.

If that happens, U.S of A. is officially a banana republic....

it already is a banana republic when the dems stole the election. you are telling me that a dementia patient that never left his basement got more votes than Obama?

the 2020 election was never federally investigated.

So if this did happen would it count as Trump's second term? Would he be able to be re-elected in 2024?

reply

Trump is too old now,
we need a younger smart guy like Adam Corolla
