Establishment Bots

So lately there's been an infiltration of moviechat by robots who hammer away at establishment talking points (WhoToTrust is a good example). I think the best tactic with these mindless idiots is to ignore them. When they comment, just ignore them. Let them know nobody here is buying their corporate-approved bullshit.

reply

They’re easy to spot. They never weigh in on open ended topics. Questions of debating solutions. They never offer any solutions to anything. It’s always the same orange man bad. Soon to be Desantis man bad. Republicans man bad.

It’s so boring. It’s why every few weeks it’s best to do a cleaning and move a few dozen or so to the ignore list. Time is precious and sifting through the lemming nonsense isn’t worthwhile enough to keep them around.

reply

The problem is people keep feeding them.

Apparently not commenting is too hard lol.

reply

You're a robot.

But you know that.

What made you so bitter and twisted?

reply

Do you have any other suspects? I have a strong suspicion jsjfek is one, simply based on the "trash" name and the fact that they dump links to youtube videos and don't comment afterward.

reply

I always go by the number of posts they've put up. Under 1000, I'm suspicious. I know there are true believers in the blue cult who have been here for a while, and I don't consider them bots. It does seem like every other week there's a new "new" account that's determined to disrupt threads with corporate-approved platitudes. Many of them claim to have read all the posts by the people they're attacking, which is really only something you're going to do if you're being paid to take the time to do so.

reply

But for the ones that constantly reply, there's no fun in ignoring them.

reply

Let them know nobody here is buying their corporate-approved bullshit.
Translation:

"People in the real world called out my tinfoil hat conspiracy theories and MAGA delusions"

reply

Ah, the instant turn to corporate name-calling. Somebody disagrees with your boss's narrative, call them a "maga" or accuse them of wearing a "tinfoil hat" or being a "conspiracy theorist."

It must be difficult walking with no brain between your ears.

reply

Well we'll have to leave it there given that we are arguing over some completely unspecified claims.

unless you want to give an example of WhoToTrust doing a "hammer away at establishment talking points "

You got a lot of support for such vague a statement
How did those agreeing know what you're talking about?

please ,
what is a "establishment talking point" ?

reply

They are so pathetic...

reply

And into our little bubbles we go...

reply

No bubbles here. Just bursting the bubbles of those who want to turn this into a shithole like twitter.
