So lately there's been an infiltration of moviechat by robots who hammer away at establishment talking points (WhoToTrust is a good example). I think the best tactic with these mindless idiots is to ignore them. When they comment, just ignore them. Let them know nobody here is buying their corporate-approved bullshit.

shareI always go by the number of posts they've put up. Under 1000, I'm suspicious. I know there are true believers in the blue cult who have been here for a while, and I don't consider them bots. It does seem like every other week there's a new "new" account that's determined to disrupt threads with corporate-approved platitudes. Many of them claim to have read all the posts by the people they're attacking, which is really only something you're going to do if you're being paid to take the time to do so.
