shareTrue, he seemed like a nice guy. I'm not sure what should happen there, it looks like an accident but if she suspected her door had been broken in, why would she rush in alone as a woman? I never heard if she noticed there was a bunch of different furniture and wall art around the room or if the confrontation was instant after opening the door. It would be nice to have unbiased, unintimidated juries to handle this type of case.

I agree locked doors should be part of the human psyche, we haven't evolved very far from the times when everything was trying to eat us while we slept, same threat level still exists in nature.
